Oh well, tomorrow I can stay in bed, got nights starting tomorrow, should have been doing four but my colleague called me up yesterday asking if I could swap my Monday night for her Friday night next week so that's good as it means two lots of three instead of four and two.

As for Xmas shopping, I've done a bit, got some shoes for my son, not the ones he wanted but the ones he wants are over £100 and I got these for £35, my 14 year old is having money as she wants to go on a shopping trip to London so that is her Xmas gift, I really begrudge getting anything for step daughter as she's ungrateful, plus she is now at the age where gifts ar not as much, I done it with my boys, but she won't see it that way.
I tend to start my Christmas shopping in December, although the nativity takes up so much spare time that I end up doing it in lunch breaks, and doing a lot of click and collect. I have got CDs for some people though. I was in the orchestra for a few tracks on an album recorded by a classical soprano in Cardiff, so I bought copies of that for both sets of parents, my aunt and my grandparents. The parents will have something else as well though.
30th August 2014 was the best birthday ever.

Morning ladies, dress fitting went really well, she had done most of it but wanted me to try on before she took any more off just incase. I finally felt like it was my dress because it doesn't swamp me anymore. Then I got home and OH surprised me with a new engagement ring, I didn't want or need one but he said he had always wanted to get me a better one so while he had the money he did! It's gorgeous I love it but I still love my other one so I'm currently wearing one on each hand lol!

I am seriously in a I cannot be bothered mood today. Showered and changed, cannot be bothered with makeup either. I would like to make it out to the rugby match later though for my son as he is playing it and I thought I had Freddie so said I couldn't. The only laundry load I have to do at the moment is a white wash, but don't want to do it until after the kids are home as then I can get the school uniform done, which has worked out well actually as tomorrow they have mufti day, so I can get it all done tonight and tomorrow.

Was not until just now I remembered so now it won't be so much of a mad rush to get the school uniform cleaned. I shall do a load this evening and pop it on the radiators so when the heating comes on in the morning it can dry.

Morning all. gosh you were busy yesterday. Some work that I have been saying was urgent for the last 2 months but was never given the time to do was suddenly urgent yesterday and needed to be completed by end of today. I have most of it done, just the tidying up to do. But even that will take all today possible some of Monday.
so tired. I slept really well last night and didn't want to get out of bed. I think after 2 really long stressful days I am still catching up from my lack of energy.

Well we've had a nice dramatic morning in work, doesn't often happen in a library. A student had an epileptic fit. Most of us in the library have done some first aid training at some point, although not through work, but none of us has done it recently enough to be qualified. We called reception to find a first-aider, and in the meantime did what we could, getting tables and chairs out of the way and moving students that didn't need to be there (two of her friends stayed with her). We also said to the guy on the issue desk to say if anyone needs books from that end of the library, so a staff member can go and get it to limit the number of people going past. The worrying thing was that it took an awfully long time for reception to track down a qualified first-aider. The first two people that came to help were really no more use than us, although one of the reception staff that came up did call an ambulance, just to be on the safe side. It's very definitely made us think that we need to get some first aid training organised for the library, so that we can deal with it in house next time and we only have to call reception to tell them to direct the ambulance crew up to us.
