We're hoping to watch CIN but we have to persuade the TV to work first. We had to move it for the floor being done which also involved moving the set-top ariel which was on top of the furniture, and now I can't get the signal back. It's very frustrating that the roof-top ariel seems to have stopped working. Once all the decorating is done we'll try it again, otherwise we might need to look at some kind of cable deal.

What a pain, think it's about time that the to licence was scrapped as well. You've got a tv so need to pay for one, yet st the mo you cannot watch it, yet still have to pay.

The news about Paris is awful.
Had an ok day. Journey up to Sheffield was delayed an hour and a half sitting stationary because the A42 was closed. Didn't help that we left late because OH didn't sleep well after his night shift. Wasn't a problem but wish I'd one him up to have a nap in the car and may have missed the accident. Had lunch when we got here and OH was tired so came back for a nap. I ended up having one too but majorly regretting it now because I can't sleep.
Had dinner at a lovely Thai place. Never had it before so asked for recommendations. Had a green curry and a yellow curry. We preferred the yellow. The green was a bit flowery for us. It was lovely though :)

Sad news about the attack in Paris..... RIP to all of those innocent people who have lost their lives.
Meeting OHs LO today. I had a bad dream about it last night. I dreamt we were half an hour late for the contact centre and then we were stopped by police for not wearing seat belts in the car! His ex wouldn't wait so took LO into town and when we finally arrived OH went ballistic...... I woke up at that point and my heart was pounding. I was relieved to find it was just a dream lol
I'm a little nervous but I'm sure things will just be natural when we meet..... I feel a little under pressure as to what to say to him but I'm sure OH will get the conversation going xx

I slept like a log last night! I forget how dark it is up north- as soon as you turn light off its dark whereas at home we have street lights near so always bright- plus my bed at my dads is one of the most comfy beds ever- it's a hypnosis bed - like the new ones they have in pr3m1er inns! Heaven!

What else are you making for dinner IDL? Today we made a pear and blackberry crumble with dads pears from tree and his blackberries, poached the pears in prosecco and a bit of sherry and then made a syrup with a bit of the poaching juice and sugar and his homemade blackberry liqueur! We ar off out for dinner tonight but will be pudding for Sunday dinner!
