Got told today, that I am moving teams at work. Its not just me, we are all moving round.

I have been ok with it for most of the day - we had our "new team" meeting this morning, and my new manager told us that he hadn't made up his mind where he was going to sit us all.

I wasn't overly bothered, as I presumed that all teams were being moved around and told where to sit (at which desk) however, since the other new teams have had their meetings - it turns out that our team seems to have a control freak as a boss, as all the other managers are just letting their teams choose their seats.

I feel like I'm a 5 year old back at school again.

The more I have thought about it, the more angry I have become. Even more so when it became clear, that my manager (who was previously the training manager) was due to lose his job, and a new post has been created just so that he can stay and has also been given a 7k pay rise to boot.

We now have 4 managers who look after 4.5 staff members each !!!! Talk about overkill.

I shall be having a word tomorrow I think.

Hubby has gone off to work, said he will be back by lunchtime, today is a crazy day in my home town as it's the end of cowes week and there is a big firework display tonight so the amount of people in town increases by a very huge amount.

Got Freddie today, my son's girlfriend said she finishes at 245 but will probably be nearer 5/6pm before they pick him up.

I've got a thing about caeser salad at the mo. I've always loved it but since I had the most amazing one on honeymoon I've become a bit obsessed! By the time I've lathered on my sauce and topped it with loads of croutons though, it's not very healthy... ha.

Sounds good fun. Do you go out to watch or stay away?

Flossie I put so much dressing on my salads its ridiculous! Got my mom and dad to get me some balsamic vinegar off their holiday in France. It is so good and so cheap! Hoping to pick that up tonight so that will make my dressings a little healthier as ill make them myself.

I was going to have kievs and a jacket tonight as been craving an oven dinner but its now boiling hot so thinking a pasta or a salad instead. Maybe an orzo with chicken, cured sausage and peppers.

Gave it to my new boss this morning - with both barrels - need less to say, we all had an apology and can now sit where we want to.

Got loads to do in the house this weekend - we need to clear out and regain our spare rooms. I can feel a couple of trips to the refuse site coming on.

Mom and dad asked if I wanted to stay for their bbq yesterday so had that instead

Evening all

We go out to watch them, we mingle about by the beer tents first as they have bands playing, then head up to a church yard where we have a brilliant view. Disappointed this year as they were only ten minutes long, usually they are 20-30 minutes long.

Yes I wanted to watch olympics last night too but me cough has just completely knocked me- now sat catching up on super Saturday :-)

Back to work tomoz :( 2 weeks has gone soooo quick! Oh well bank holiday in a couple of weeks

Shame I didn't find anything else I really wanted. Just wasn't feeling it yesterday, I was in the mood to treat myself but didn't find anything else I loved enough to buy. Tried on a gorgeous pair of shoes but they just weren't right, one foot fitted great, the other was almost like a size too big.

I did get myself my fave chocolates.

Think I'm going to steam some dim sum for lunch and do some noodles and veg.

Ahhhhh I love a clean house. All done. Dishwasher also finished so jut cooling off before I put stuff away.

Awww Maxine, all things happen for a reason so it means he's had a lucky escape or something better is around the corner.

I feel like going out tonight. Not in the mood to cook. Really shouldn't go out as we went out Friday night for dinner and then I was out tomorrow for afternoon tea then had a saveloy and chips for dinner when I got home from the chippy and hubby had pizza from D0m1n035. Would be really bad if I then went out for dinner tomorrow.

We too had pizza for dinner last night! It was buy one get 1 free so we still have the rest left for t tonight! Since we've been back from holiday have continued to eat rubbish- been shopping and stocked up on fruit and veg so from tomorrow can start eating healthy again!

Haven't been on in a while can't at work can only read the forum can't write on it.

Have cleaned all the kitchen cupboards out this morning and throw some stuff out that was out of date we went to the cash and carry yesterday so needed some space.

now sat watching Nashv*l*e hubby is in the garden
