Morning folks....

Well, today I start my new job!! I'm nervous yet excited all at the same time. I think it's just the unknown isn't it?! It will take a few week to settle in properly but surely it's better than what I was doing before?!

I don't like being the new girl but before long, that won't be the case and I'll be part of a team like the rest of them....

Hope everyone is ok. Not been on for a few days

It was my birthday yesterday. Had a lovely day. Hubby made me breakfast and him and LO bought me some new ch@nel perfume, yak lip gloss and LO wanted to get me a Thomas birthday cake haha

We took LO shooting as he loves to see Oh doing it, came home and put guns away and then went to the local garden centre for a hot choc and cake...yum. Our friends came round later on so Oh cooked us all a steak and we had some prosecco and watched a film. Was a lovely day

LO at nursery this morning. Need to do the food shop and clean up

Work is slow again today. I didn't sleep well. was up till 3am so could do with it being busy to keep me going..

Afternoon all,

I am so tired today, my night was slow until about 4amish then picked up a bit. Only slept on and off as was aware that the chap who came off his bike in the summer may be round this afternoon. Currently sat here watching the Xmas channel on 5ky.

I don't know how you are managing to work nights Danielle, I'm practically passed out on the sofa by 9pm every night at the moment!

I've bought a suit and christening gown for Joseph, his baptism is a week on Sunday. I had thought he was a bit big for a gown, but they are made for his age, and I'd love to put him in one, even if just for the christening itself. I think for lunch afterwards he'll be in a suit.

Believe me Jen it's killing me. I'm like a constant zombie. I've done 5 weeks another week to go then back on days for a few weeks

Morning in.

Back in in day shift today, about a to leave the house, will get back in in just over 14 hours time. I'm tired just thinking about it.

I know.... I was thinking about it last night and to be honest, if that's all I have to put up with then I'm quite lucky compared to some...... I'll get used to it!

Good thing is, I like the company and I can learn how to do coding on computers which is what I want. I'll get used to the horrible traffic.

Got a welcome meeting today with the CEO so I'll push for more work/jobs to keep me busy lol

It is so cold, I have come into work and put the radiator on full, how the hell did it drop so cold so fast I suppose I shouldn't complain it is November.

Wow Emily that's a long time to be up sounds like me before I knew I had a thyroid issue, I could never sleep I always felt really awake and full of energy even though I knew I needed to sleep, might be worth a quick appointment with your Doctors.

Morning all. Having a lazy morning as got all the cleaning done yesterday. Hubby lit the fire this morning as it's so cold. LO has nursery this afternoon then we are going to visit my parents and out for a family meal as my nephew is home from uni for a few days. Feel sorry for hubby working out in the cold today lol. I've a big pot of home made soup on the go for next few day lunches. Didn't get a chance to make it yesterday. Hope everyone has a nice day

Morning Ladies,

I had such a rough night of sleep, I think it's because I'm stuck at home in recovery mode that I'm not burning off much energy so when it comes to going to bed, I'm not as tired as I should be. Took me ages to doze off and woke up feeling like cack!

I have no migrated to the lounge, as I can sit up a bit longer now, and I'm hoping this will help with the sleeping situation. As I've spent the last 4 weeks being awake in the bedroom during the day, I think my brain is now in the mode of. "Emma is in the bedroom, this is where she stays awake and plays xbox." Hopefully I can retrain it to know that it's where I do the sleep!!

I will be spending today on Christmas cards I think, or starting them at least.

Stacey, it wasn't me, its OH who can't sleep so when I saw him sitting on the side of the bed it woke me up so I told him to have a shower and stayed up with him for a while. I am close to sending him to the doctors. I have an idea for tonight so fingers crossed

Glad your new job is going well Emma. It can be a nightmare getting to and from my work as well with the traffic but at it's worst it still only takes about 30 mins which isn't too bad considering. Our new lady started yesterday too and seems to be doing well.

Glad you like the new job Emmilou. Is it possible to cycle the journey? I used to cycle before I married, as it was a lovely route through a park and the traffic was so bad that cycling was just as quick.

EC.... can't cycle to work as I have LO to take yo school first.... I can't really ride a bike anyway due to my weak left side but it's a nice idea if I could.

Yesterday wasn't too bad to be honest. Took me less than 30 minutes last night so it wasn't as bad.....

I'll be fine.

The more I've woken up today and walked around the house, the more annoyed I've got. So, Friday and Saturday I left the house at 0700 and got in just after 2100, Sunday I spent the day doing laundry and cleaning of the house, Sunday night I left the house at 2015 and returned Monday morning at 0800, went to bed for a few hours, got up, chilled for a bit, made dinner, then Tuesday I left the house at 0700 and again returned just after 2100. Today, it will be looked at as my 'day off' as I am in the house all day, however, it's not, I've done washing up, tidied things away, emptied an over flowing food bin, hoovered, etc etc etc, but hey, it's ok as its my day off, but it's seeing as at 2015 I shall be leaving the house again and returning at 0800 tomorrow morning. Would you really see today as being a day off?

Sorry for my little rant, just that hubby seems to think that as he is at work all day he doesn't need to do stuff around the house, yet he's spent more time in the house than I have since Friday morning,

Gutted about the presidential election. I'm wondering what the world is coming to.

Bit of exciting news this morning... mortgage has been accepted subject to a valuation, which shouldn't be a problem. Eeeeeek!!

It's enough that work are running me down, let alone home as well. He just came home a short while ago, said he needed a coffee and a poo! I was sat having a quick cuppa myself so no doubt he thinks that's all I do. I then went and cleaned our en suite, he will only do it if I ask him to and then it's only the shower he will clean and not do it properly. I'd love a mans day off. I've got the toilet by the front door to clean but mot going in there yet as that's where he had his poo.

See I wouldn't do that. I made it clear with OH when he got his job that if he didn't have lunch or uniform then it was his fault and i wouldn't accept him saying that it was up to me to sort his work things for him.

Our bins didn't go out this morning because I was up late after a long day yesterday and OH didn't bother. He was off yesterday and today but still up to me to get up to do it.
