I made roast duck crown, with roast potatoes in the duck fat, carrots and broccoli and made a blueberry compote to go with as had no cherries or plums, worked just the same :-)
Not looking forwards to work tomoz- ears still ringing and could do with an extra day off! Lol- 5 days to get through snd then off :-)

When hubby worked away last year I nev slept good either, part of that was due to not wearing ear plugs, was nice to giv my ears s rest but I could then hear all the little noises I cannot with them in, but as I was the only adult in the house I felt I had to go without in case anything happened.

Church was good today, we had a preacher that I really like. I caught up with the other lady who I knew was pregnant, who is due on December 27th. She's keeping her fingers crossed for a late arrival. I'd have expected her to be ready for it to be over by now but she's quite happy to get Christmas out of the way first. Apparently her other two were both late. I got chatting to another lady who hasn't been at our church that long, and it turns out she's 15 weeks pregnant as well with her first. It's nice, Claire is so far ahead of me that I'm glad there's someone else a bit closer so we can do it together.
30th August 2014 was the best birthday ever.
It was the day that I became Mrs. Dixon.
