Flossie, think we had the same deal, I had to take a new contract out for the broadband and phone but that was not an issue as I need to have that anyway, but the tv I got a discount on but still a rolling contract each month.
Kids go back to school today, all ready to go so far but might not last, give it another day. So I have a day on my own, going to do some grocery shopping and housework.

Littl'un's at school and I'm off work so got a trip to the craft shop in mind. Helping my sister make those flower pomander things for her centerpieces and I've run out of white card. Eep! Polystyrene balls, card flowers, pins and tv for me tonight.

I used to use them for my tv/interwebs but I've ended up leaving. They kept bringing my bill down and before I knew it they found ways to bring it back up again a month or two later. After a couple of years I just had enough.
It's been 5 months and I still get phone calls asking if I'd consider going back! I'm going to end up blocking them at this rate because they obviously don't take my details off the system when I have asked them to.

I actually slept the whole night through last night for the first time in forever... didn't even need to get up for a wee which I normally do about twice every night. Feeling fresh today - it's amazing what a decent night's sleep can do!

Meeting mum for lunch at 5ubw@y today, starving already so I can't wait. Tuna salad today me thinks.

First laundry load on the line, second load in and just finished, grocery shopping completed. Now for a quick chill before making hubby's lunch and taking that down to him.
I went to a talk on weaning and baby oral health this morning, organised by the health visitors. It was very informative, although most of the stuff on weaning I'd seen in a book already. I was impressed with what they gave us afterwards. As well as a handout on weaning and a leaflet on dental care for under 3s, they gave us a sippy cup with three different lids for different stages, a toothbrush and toothpaste, two children's books (one bilingual being in Wales), leaflets on reading to children, and a placemat with English nursery rhymes on one side and Welsh on the other.

An added bonus was that my husband was able to join us part way through. The power was partially lost in his building, so no lifts or air con available and only one loo. They said essential staff only to stay which in his team meant everyone mucking in to help admin sort the post and then they could all go. I've taken advantage, as I needed to buy bread anyway, so I am sat in a coffee shop without my baby, just chilling out without wondering if he will wake up or start crying and need something.

I've got the dentist and they just called asking if they can make it an earlier appointment. I agreed as it was at 740pm, still late at 705 but at least it's not as late.

Evening all- been really humid today and office like a furnace!
Had to call ambulance out as one of my team was having heart palpitations- paramedics were fab and did eg on her and then said thought she was dehydrated so took her to hospital for fluids- they even commented at how warm office was and then no air circulation!
Just 1 more day left this week! Yay- been an awful week- trying wedding dresses on Friday- excited but also nervous as feel I won't find a dress a look nice in to fit a sack of spuds! lol

OH said tonight lets sit down and look at wedding stuff- I was like I'm not really feeling it, had a busy week and just want to chill but he said we should- so I reluctantly agree- big mistake!
So we start looking at save the date stuff- anything I say I like he doesn't but then doesn't say what he likes- then starts planning and won't show me- I was annoyed anyway as didn't want to do this tonight and now I've just had a strop as he wont show me or tell me what he likes so I've said I don't care anymore I have no opinion and he can organize it all!
Tbh I woukd be quite happy for him to sort it- he has good taste - I'm now not going to mention the wedding or show him anything until he comes to me!

Total pain and it's really disappointing as she seemed a very good fit, but at least she decided to leave early on and not after a couple of months when we'd have invested even more wasted time into her. R££d always seem to get a good response rate to their ads, so might be worth looking at them to host your advertisement - there is a fee, but for 1 job may be worth it to get the right candidate.

We met up with the other antenatal class Mums and babies today. It's lovely to see how they're all developing. They're starting to be aware of each other now as well, which is fun to watch. The conversation turned to second children. One lady already has a six year old and she would have another but her husband isn't keen. One has just started a new job as a debuty head, so needs to give the job done time. She's aiming for two years time. I'd like Joseph to be in nursery so I don't always have a toddler at home while dealing with a newborn. One had IVF with donor eggs, and has two other embryos, but not as good quality apparently. They would have to gamble between doing two cycles with all the injections, or having both at once, which increases the chances but could result in twins. Interestingly, apparently even though the egg was from a donor, the mum still influences the baby, as the body chooses which genes are switched on and off.

Morning all
Had a long day at work yesterday and boy was it long, but so busy that it went quick. I was so tired at the end of it. It took me from about 1400 until 1800 to eat ,y lunch, good job it was only a salad.
Dentist looked at my crown and said she would replace it free of charge. Yep good job as I would not have paid for it.
Slept awful last night, was awake from about 4am, could not get back off and when I did it was a doze and then it was time to get up.
This weekend marks the end of the festival season on the IOW, he's struggled to sell tickets this year and it shows, he's taken stages down, and all the big stages he has there are smaller than usual. Even my son is moaning about it and he loves it,

Afternoon all- might have put a deposit on wedding dress! Whooops- I only went to look but I fell in love. so I've paid £300 deposit and she's said that it prob won't be in until March and then before before she does alterations if I change my mind then that is ok as she will just put it on the rack, I won't lose money and that £300 can go towards another dress :-)

Joseph's been in a lovely mood today. One of his godmothers came to visit, and she speaks Welsh so read him a Welsh book. Then I popped out for coffee as I was getting cabin fever. I'm loving watching the Paralympics, we're doing really well, particularly in cycling and swimming. A blind runner was disqualified for crossing the line after her guide, but that was being appealed last I knew, as the team say the video shows she crossed the line first.

Hello. Sorry I've been Mia for so long. Feel like getting back one here and talking to you more again. Not been to great. New job isn't going well. Flossie. Could I do your one from home haha!! The job itself is fine but the company is shocking. Not what they told me at all. They can't cope with the amount of work they have and are failing deadlines left right and centre... This week my supervisor said to me that if she could afford to she would walk out and not go back.. Only been there a month and she says things like that.. Will give it a month and see..
Went to my friends wedding last week and it was beautiful. Got me emotional for ours! So excited!

Sorry that job isn't going well- new jobs are always hard but if it isn't right then start looking- I was made redundant in 2008 and as we just bought a house we needed money- I took the first job that paid and totally regretted it- kept telling myself to give it more time- I lasted 5 months but I have to say it was the most miserable 5 months so I think for yiu if you know it's not right, get out quick before it eats you up- too much good has happened for ou this year for 1 job to ruin it all xxx

It's raining here as well this morning, it's a shame for the peeps that are at those bestival, my younger son went last night and he said everything is downsized on last year, next year he will have to pull some good acts in for peeps to go I think.
Off to body pump in a bit, then home and see the detective coming round to see my daughter. Then I have nothing planned apart form doing the laundry, that'll be getting put into the tumble dryer.

We have had the police round to speak to my daughter, they are coming round tomorrow to video her. She was a bit unsure about going to court if she needed to at first, but we had a chat and she agreed. They are pretty sure they have the person on bail but need all the bits to join the jigsaw.
Need to pop to town and get laundry detergent as run out. Had to use the freebie from a free pack I give my ladies
