My doctor once made a very inappropriate comment to me which has scarred me for life and the reason I don't like to see him or the other doctors anymore! I was off on holiday and was due my period whilst I was there, so I wanted some pills to delay it (I wasn't on the pill at the time). He opened his drawer and pulled out a wine cork and said problem solved!!!! I don't know why he had a wine cork in his drawer anyway.... ?!

I've just seen an ad on the to for an app you can get called b@byl0n, you can make an appointment with a doctor, have your prescriptions ordered and sent to the chemist, and the appointment is done by video. Personally I would not trust that.

Omg Flossie, that's awful, did you put a complaint in? My friend who I went to college with and was at uni with had some inappropriate comments made to her asking if she was on drugs because of her eyes, but that was just how her eyes were. She put a complaint in about it.

No I didn't GF, he was joking and has always had a strange sense of humour but I didn't find it very funny or appropriate! My mum was in the room with me too and he has been her doctor for god knows how long so she knows what he's like too. She seemed to think it was quite funny.. so maybe it's just me lol.

Another doctor I saw once kept asking me if I smoked. I said no, he kept asking, I kept saying no... no idea why he didn't seem to believe me?! I've probably had like 2 cigarettes in my life when I was at school! Found that annoying.

When I was a student, I was out in community, and suddenly had an awful uti come on, so I booked an appointment with my GP as I am Allergic to trimethoprim which you can get from the pharmacy without a prescription. As I had been in community I still had my badge on as went straight there, he saw it and said where do you work, I said I was a student midwife, he said oh could you not have dipped your urine with a stick, I said yep but a midwife would not have been able to issue me with antibs if need be, he then changed his tone and said oh it's only because sometimes things show up and sometimes they don't.

I changed my dr when I had my LO. They kept messing my midwife appointments up. My first midwife appointment got double booked and they couldn't see me for 2 weeks after that. The receptionist was unhelpful too.

A few other appointments got cancelled so I'd had enough so Once LO was born I swapped to the gp OH goes to and it's a lot better

Yeah he's a lot better he's on a new inhaler and has to have it daily now to stop any infection getting to his chest, its his dads fault he's in this mess, he has them most weekends as mum and dad have split up, on Saturday he was not well and with his asthma problems any cold goes right to his chest and this has been from birth and he needs to go right to the docs and on antibiotics, dad ignored it and left him so Monday when my friend got the kids back he was very very bad and that's why she had to take him to the hospital, the hosp have said to my friend that if dad hadn't ignored it all weekend and got him to emergency docs on Saturday he would not of needed admitted to the hospital! poor wee thing xx

I'm just frightened that I'm not ok in myself and that its not good for me looking for another job. but I know its not good for me working here either.

My company is going through sh** at the moment and it is a horrible atmosphere to work in. Major management shuffle and getting rid of anyone who sneezes out of turn.

I got a call yesterday asking if the agency could forward my job for a position they had seen which was positive.
I'm just worried about applying for jobs while I have this label over me. People find excuses to not employ you because of it so would rather not do it at the moment.

Sounds like yours is going really well Emma :)

Sarah I hope it goes well. What's it a course in?

I've had a good day - just switched my mortgage deal and managed to save £107 a month off my monthly payments, so very happy, especially as my acting up post at work came to end earlier this year, so that extra saving will come in very useful :-)

Sorry work is so awful for you at the moment Emily. Nothing worse than having to turn up everyday to sit in an atmosphere like that. I've been there and it's not nice. Hope something positive comes through for you with the agency. I'm not 100% happy at work at the moment - I just feel like I am stagnating and working in the public sector promotions are very hard to come by. There are no development courses offered, but can't really leave the organisation as we want to start trying for a baby straight after the wedding, so have to stick with it for the maternity pay as I've got over 10 years service... Doesn't make the days go quickly though.

I am sooooooo tired. I have most things for dinner but forgot one thing, someone can run Down the road and get that in a bit, all the kids have gone out at the mo so on my own.
