IDL I'm English, so really can't complain. I do support Wales as well, I've been here 12 years, and I'm chuffed with how far they've got. I have an added reason to support Wales now, as my mum keeps pointing out, my son is Welsh.

I had a great week in Northumberland last week, although it was daunting doing such a long drive with a baby. We stopped overnight with a brother in Yorkshire both ways. Joseph has now met his two uncles and aunts on my side, his aunt and uncle and aunt on his dad's side, his great aunt and uncle on my side, and his great grandparents (my mums's parents).

I didn't Michelle but as soon as I saw him I knew I was being daft and the anxietys went away....
I'm just being silly and I need to snap out of it before I ruin everything......
I'm still getting used to him being home every night and I'm out of my usual routine which doesn't help!
Once he gets a call for this job starting Aug/September time, he's gonna be away again so I need to stop whittling and being daft and make the most of him whilst he's here..... He wouldn't be marrying me if he wasn't happy.
I hate PMT time, it ruins things for a week and there's nothing I can do about it!

Had my first week in community this week on my own. On my first day I got put into an area to do a clinic I did not know. I had no idea what was at the clinic either, how busy it was, how to get onto the computer there. It was awful. The next day I was back In my area so was better.

Wow, busy busy day. Have hardly stopped until now, time for some lunch! Carbing up again today as have another 3 hours of dance rehearsals again tonight.
What have we all got planned for the weekend? Not much planned for me, just dance rehearsals... Got a couple of hours tomorrow and I and a couple of others are going in to use the studio on Sunday for 3/4 hours so we can just run through everything and they can catch me up on the bits I missed whilst I was away for the wedding/honeymoon.
Feeling a takeaway and a film tomorrow night, this first week back at work has been pretty full on.

Hi everyone. Still doing a mix of days and nights so a little up the left!! Last night tonight then 2 weeks of days thank goodness. It's hubby's birthday tomorrow. Just about to put a hamper together with his fav beer, choc, sweets etc. going out tomorrow night and mil having lo overnight so looking forward to that.
GF what do you think of community? There's a post advertised that id love but it's Monday to Friday 9-5. As much as I'd love bank holidays, weekends off, no nights etc if we ever have another child it would mean them in crèche 5 days a week which a would be so expensive And b I don't like the thought of them being there 5 days it's quite a lot. Plus there's a girl I work with really interested in it so think il leave it. Head a bit torn about it

It was expected - it's hectic at the best of times, let alone when the team have been 1 person down for 2 and a half weeks! My boss was certainly glad to have me back - he came to blows with my colleague whilst I was away. It's looking rather busy for the foreseeable future... my boss is off for 2 weeks next month as well.

Flossie the house is fab! Love being there so much. Still have a lot of sorting to do but we are getting there slowly! Cant wait until it's all done and we can just relax! Sounds like a nice weekend Flossie, like the sounds of a takeaway and film so might have to do the same.
I am getting my nails done and then we're viewing a house tomorrow afternoon so quite excited about that but other than that, it will be a nice quiet and relaxing weekend which I am pleased about.

Thank god that weeks done.....
My boss is back on Monday after a weeks holiday so that's a relief.
Taking my car to a Vauxhall specialist tomorrow, they aren't main dealer but specialise in my car. They will diagnose it tomorrow, tell me what needs doing then perhaps repair it the back end of next week when I get paid!
OH on nights tomorrow night, then we are both going to the venue and I've got my final fitting Sunday at 1pm....
LO is away with my sister glamping this weekend so it's just me and OH which I think we need at the minute xx

We took LO to the pub to meet friends when OH finally finished work (7.30) in laws were up there too. Only had one drink as LO was tired so we all came back and started on the drink that was left from LO party last week. We all ended up with a takeaway too. LO fell asleep in my arms outside so brought him in as it was cold and our friends got a lift home

I set my alarm for normal time but ended up switching it off and sleeping til 6.45....
I'm showered now but still need to be dressed and ready to go by 8.15 ish to take my car to the specialist.
I'm hoping it's not gonna be hugely expensive!

Have you asked him why he hits, is he annoyed that he can't do things or just curious at how far he can push you?
Ask him how he woukd feel if his friend hit him or how does mummy feel if he hits you. If he hurts another kid go to that kid first to show him he can't hit yo get attention.
Have you told him that if he throws toys they will be taken off him
Our friends little boy is 4 and constantly hits, bites and throws things and it's all because he doesn't want a new brother or sister- could it be LO has picked up on all the wedding stresses too?
Hope he grows out of it soon - sure when I was a kid if I hit someone then I got hit back but guess not allowed anymore!

Well I've got my car back.... It's the back oxygen sensor but caused by oil in the wiring loom which is what I diagnosed in the first place..... Grrrrr, I hate bl00dy garages!!
The man was really lovely and genuine and I'm taking it back Wednesday to be fixed Thursday/Friday.....
That means I get chauffeured around for a couple if days....yipeeeee lol

He gets told no Michelle and has to say sorry when he's done something wrong. I agree with you though if they've hit or done something wrong then they should get a smacked bum/hand as it's unacceptable. He also has to sit and have time out until he knows he's done wrong

Danielle, as for community, it's ok, but then you miss out on any enhancements you get. My first day I worked over the usual hours and was first on call, fortunately I never got called out though.

First bad mummy moment. I was clipping Joseph's nails with baby nail clippers and I caught his thumb. It's still bleeding although it has slowed down. We don't have any plasters small enough so we've improvised a dressing with cotton wool and surgical tape. I can't believe I did that. I can see from googling it that lots of people have done it but I still feel awful, particularly given how he cried when I first did it.
