Busy day today. Finished moms curtains and fixed a top fir a friend then took all the Christmas docs down. Shattered by the end of it. Up early but can't sleep. Started knitting a shawl today. Already 13" across top! Only needs to be 46 become I can put the edging on lol!
OH annoyed me earlier. We had seen a house we really liked so today after he met his friend he went to the estate agents. Didn't even tell me he was going. Surely buying a house isn't something to keep secret from each other :(

Morning all....
OH and I had the worst nights sleep ever. I think it's because we know it's back to work. We both saw midnight and he got up at 2.45 as he'd just been staring at the clock all night.
When he left, I couldn't sleep again and then struggled at 5.20 when my alarm went off.....
Lots of caffeine for me today lol....

I'm dressed and goodness me, my work trousers are tight lol......
Partly as they are washed and normally are on a Monday but it doesn't feel good.
I've scanned all of today's food into my calorie app including my million coffees and I have 322 remaining for my dinner tonight. I won't have dinner though as I'm gonna do a big clean and hopefully my DVD!

Back to work today but first day full time working from home so I am sat at my computer in my PJ's haha! Wish I had a few more days off though as OH is off until Wednesday but at least I have the flexibility to dip in and out of work :)

Just done a bit of tidying around, need to hoover, then do some shopping, then look after Freddie for a bit at lunchtime.
I'm just in a Cba mood today though. I think it's because I'm on my own, everyone has gone to work/school. I feel that over the holidays I've not really had time off and missed out.
We still have a gift to give out, it's more hubby's friends than mine, but for some reason him and his friend stopped talking over a job of some kind, I'm not sure of the whole story, however, last night my daughter pointed out the gift was still there, so I just looked at him, his reply was to me 'well you've got legs haven't you?' My reply was 'well you're the one who has been here all the time' I had no reply to that!

Well going to Northumberland isn't particularly an adventure, it's just returning to the place where I spent my childhood and where both my parents and hubby's parents live. My heart is very definitely there and part of me would love to relocate, but we both have so many friends in Cardiff now that leaving would be a wrench, especially the churches and choir that we are both heavily involved in. I've been in Cardiff for 11 and a half years now, having arrived as a postgraduate student. Hubby has been here even longer, as he came as an undergraduate and was two school years ahead of me, so he must have come down in 1998, when I was starting sixth form.
30th August 2014 was the best birthday ever.

I've been able to have a lie in this morning. Partly I wanted to have time to recover from the long drive yesterday which is why I booked the day off, but also I haven't slept as well while I've been away. Once I was awake I could never go back to sleep. Hubby will learn to drive soon so hopefully he might be able to share the drive next time we do it. We're just waiting to get the last bits of work done on the house so we can be sure that we have enough money for lessons, accounting for all the new baby costs as well.

Hiya all, been busy this morning, decided to sort through hubby's Dj stuff, some of which he does not use anymore like his vinyl players, so packed those elsewhere, then his stands he made for his old decks are sat there so they can go int the shed, gave us a bit more room so when the tumble dryer arrives it has a home,
Looking after freddie at the mo, walked round so dropped the gifts off at the friends, still think hubby should have done it but hey ho.
Forecast is more heavy rain this afternoon so hoping I get back before that hits as need to pop to town as well. It was awful here yesterday morning

Can't believe you're doing it for him gf! I told oh when he gets home tonight he has to sort through his presents and put the christmas decs back in the loft - gave him 24 hours notice so he can't complain! I can feel my stress levels becoming unbearable again with the changes at work and the diet and exercise and then knowing that I'll have to start staying away from home a few nights with work too and now the wedding seems so unbelieveably close .. I just need to chill but feels like I have a mountain to climb!

OH and I had a terrible night's sleep also! I don't feel too bad though, but I'm sure it will catch up with me later on in the week. So far so good on the diet for me today too - had a mixed berries and banana smoothie for breakfast with soya milk, and got a chicken salad for lunch.

I bought OH a smoothie maker for Crimbo so naturally I've been making the most of it too hahaha. I've been experimenting with green smoothies and was supposed to be doing the "30 day green smoothie challenge", but I really couldn't face one this morning. Just fancied something light, sweet and fresh!
I had a play with it over the hols and made iced coffee and things - yummy!

See my biggest downfall is that I don't like veg so I can't be super healthy or do green smoothies either ... I'm thinking even if I just have a fruity smoothie every day or every couple of days at least I'm getting my vitamins .. The one thing I'd asked for was a smoothie maker for Xmas where the smoothie is made in the cup and I didn't get it but I think oh must have felt bad for not putting any effort into my christmas pressie especially when he loved his multi sport watch I got him so he bought me one last week and it came on Sunday :)

Is that the Br3v1ll3 one where you blend straight into the bottle and then just put the lid on? That's the one I bought OH - it's fab! If you do a normal fruit smoothie and add a bit of spinach in you can't really taste it to be honest as the taste of everything else takes over.

Ours is just a cheap one by gr0up0n - c00ks professional or something but you do it straight in the cup unscrew it and it's done. Oh paid 19.99 which included delivery and 7 cups which is good value - we didn't get expensive as we weren't sure how much we'd use it

My diet is going well too. Had mango and apple pieces this morning and I've just had a small tin of spaghetti, a whole meal thin and an apple and nectarine.
I want to get as much off as possible this first month. Mil, fil, sil, O.h and myself weighed ourselves this morning and put it in an envelope and put £10 each in a pot. We have to do it every week and then at the end of the month whoever has lost the most gets the cash. We are doing it until July

Good luck mmw2b!! I'm the same I want as much off this first month as possible to keep me spurred on to continue losing.
Ideally I want to get to 10 stone which my app says is possible by the end of March ... I've not been 10 stone since my teens the best I've been is about 10.7 before the crash when I was running more regularly but not watching what I was eating so hopefully this two prong approach will help. Apparently for my height the lowest healthy weight is 9.3 and highest 12 stone .. The 9 3 person must be super skinny!

I'd love to be back to the size I was when I met hubby, never had I ever been so happy about my body. Even though I was a 12 sometimes 10, I still weighed just under 12 stone though. Go figure.

I'm still a 10 in most things .. Even an 8 in tops and things but my bum is big so some jeans and things have to be a 12.

Exactly Flossie, even though the scales still said just under 12 stone, I was happy with my body, I'd wear a bikini no probs, I would walk into a shop and be able to comfortably buy a size 12, in some shops though I had to take back and get a 10, I didn't care what the scales said, I was happy

That sounds yummy Mrs Wade, I do that too sometimes, so tasty though! With a bit of melted cheese on the top too.
I'm planning on doing salmon, veg, a jacket spud and a dollop of cream cheese for dinner tonight but I do need to stop off on the way home and do the food shop, so it depends if I can be bothered to cook that by the time I get home.
