Morning ladies, stopping my job search and catching up on some work this morning, not too much to do though!
It's OH's birthday today but he was in work last night and back tonight so he's in bed now! Feel so sorry for him but we did go out for dinner on Tuesday as he had a night off. I think I'll treat him to a takeaway tonight though so at least he gets something.
Don't feel great today, had a strange feeling all day yesterday where it felt like my heart was pounding and when I was breathing the air was kind of getting stuck so I was feeling out of breath, that carried on all day and night and I managed to get about 3 hours sleep last night because of it! Feel kind of the same today, checked my heart rate and it's only 82bpm so not too high, don't know whether to go to the walk in centre but don't want to look stupid if there's nothing wrong!

Emma - I had something like that about 18 months ago, just kept feeling like my heart was fluttering almost - not sure if that's the same as you're feeling, but I was at the doctors for something else and just happened to mention it and he narrowed it down to anxiety as I had a lot going on at the time. Do you think it could be the same as you're dealing with a lot due to your job situation. Agree it's worth checking out though.

No he didn't do anything, just said to me that it would go on it's own but if it ever got worse, to go back and see him. It did get better, once the stresses I was dealing with at the time went away. I still get the odd 'flutter' now and again but very rarely compared to before. Hope you feel better soon, try and take some 'me' time to relax.

I got a baby bean bag through the post today. They're supposed to be really good for the baby to lie on. Only problem, they supply the filling in a separate bag for some reason, and it has to be transferred. Well of course that didn't go well, there are little bits of filling all over the rug. I've got the worst of it up, but there are still little bits buried in the carpet. I think we'll be picking it up for days. I did at least manage to get the bean bag filled. Then went to W1ck3s to get more paint for the second bedroom, only to realise when I got home that I'd got Vinyl Matt and we've been using Vinyl Silk. I really don't feel like going out again today, so I'll change them tomorrow. I do still have the receipt at least.

EC we have a bean bag for J (just a normal one) and she loved it - it was great when she started trying to move around as she could "get off it" without hurting herself - where if she had a bouncer she'd of be climbing out of it and hurting herself.
J's still not well. I rang the health visitor to check at what point I should be concerned - she's said I've done everything right but if the sickness etc continues or she gets signs of dehydration I'm to call 111/go to A&E.
And typically I am now starting to feel a little off - really hope it's just lack of sleep, rather than the tummy bug she's got

I think so Susan, they were supplied with the bag but that's what they seem to be. I've got the majority cleared up, but I'm still coming accross them on the rug. They've got buried in it so are gradually reappearing.

Morning ladies.... I didn't get on yesterday as work was manic and then LO stayed at his nannas so I took the chance to clean the house and have some time to myself.
OH called last night and he has been offered a place on the gas plant in Barrow in Furness!! To start with its 10hr shifts but then goes to 12 hrs..... Potential earnings are £1500 a week so that would be great. It does mean he'd be doing 12 on 2 off so I'd hardly see him but hey, I can cope with that lol.....
We need the money at the minute so it's a sacrifice we are both prepared to make!
The start date should be Monday but we give notice so I need him home so as long as all goes to plan, he should be going Tuesday. If it pulls off..... We've been here before and it never happened so I'm not holding my breath really!

We went to the pub with in laws and OH cousin and wife (our best man and bridesmaid) We were celebrating as my bridesmaid was sexually assaulted when she was 9 along with her friend. They've been in court all week and he's been found guilty and its sentencing today. So happy for her that he's getting the justice he deserves

I'm so glad the guy got convicted. Too often these historical cases go nowhere as there is no proof, and when the victims are children they often won't say anything at the time. Even for adult victims it's hard to speak up.

Morning TGIF! First day in work this week and no cover has been done because of major issues. I have so much to do its a nightmare. Just going to work through it slowly and steadily as my depression hasn't been good the last few days so done want/need the extra stress.
Any plans for the weekend?
I'm hoping to go to knitting tomorrow but will see how I feel. There's a stitch up at the shop where local independent yarn suppliers are coming in to showcase their stock. Would love to get some lovely hand dyed yarn while I'm there. Have birthday money so thinking why not..

Morning ladies. I had my first dressmaking class last night- it was really good and I'm glad I plucked up the courage to book it. Only downsize is you have to measure yourself to find your dressmakers dress size and I'm a 24... Off the peg I wear a size 14/16. Honestly these marketing teams have a lot to answer for!
Another rough night with J but she does seem more like herself this morning. She even managed to eat a little so praying thats the end of it.
I'm going to try and catch up on the laundry today (and peg it out) as its real nice out today- Spring seems to be here at last.

Spoke to my brother this morning, he's doing fine. No idea what caused the seizure, he says there was nothing unusual about the day or two before it. It's affected his wife more, she doesn't sleep properly because she's watching him all the time. The seizure lasted about five minutes and then he was unconscious for a while after that, so it must have been terrifying for her. She's got a migraine this morning because of lack of sleep. My brother is waiting to see a neurologist, but it's not for a couple of weeks, so they can't be that worried.

Had a sandwich and 2 yoghurts for lunch. I don't normally have them but decided last week to start having 2 a day as I don't have any other calcium (drink black tea and only have cheese every now and then when I have a jacket). I haven't noticed a change but surely it must be better for me..
Cant wait for today to be over. Coming back to work for one day want the best idea as I have no motivation to do anything.

I currently do contemporary and am part of a Performance Group, which is mainly contemporary but we do all sorts of styles as well including ballet, modern and jazz. We run adult tap classes too but I've never been much good at that!!!

Almost had a heart attack. Thought I'd just log into the m@rr10tt reservations area on their website to double check the hotel details for OH and the gang tomorrow.. we booked 2 rooms of 4, and there was only 1 room of 4 showing on the reservation. Even though I know we paid for 2 rooms and had previously had confirmation of 2 rooms. Major panic alert!!! Just phoned them to double check, she said they split multiple rooms across separate booking numbers the nearer the stay gets, so the second room is no longer showing under the original booking number as it now has it's own. Phew!!!!

No I didn't bother, but I've got the print outs at home of the original confirmation in case there are any problems. You can tell I'm the control freak in the relationship... he's got a map and directions for walking from the hotel to the train station as well hehe.
