Need tog et petrol before work so need to leave slightly earlier, It is horrid trying to get a parking space this time of day as well at work, Not enough spaces for the staff, yet loads for patients/visitors.

I don't like the dark nights but love getting cosy with a blanket and candles! just not the same in the summer

I think I actually prefer the winter to the summer! I don't mind the cold as love being able to wrap up and keep cosy, as long as it's dry. I do like the summer but when it comes to it I always moan when I'm too hot - I'm not actually very good in the heat unless I am on holiday and have access to a swimming pool and lots of cold drinks lol. There is something lovely about cold sunny crisp winter mornings though xx

Afternoon all been sorting LO toys out in preparation for when he gets a load more at Xmas.
Been and had my nails done but then I've smudged one so will sort that later.
Just been hoovering and the biggest spider I have ever seen ran out in front of mr so I've put a plastic bowl over it. It could quite easily move it how big it is!!!
Going to pick LO up at 12.30. I'm starving had no breakfast or dinner yet as been busy trying to get things done.
OH going out tonight so just text sil to see if she fancies coming round to watch a film x

Yes GF it's a mile each way I do there and back twice sometimes 3 times a day I don't mind walking it but kids get a bit fed up,especially when it's a bit colder or p***ing it down.

Happy birthday Joanna have a great day, I love summer as I love the heat but like winter for Xmas I always put decs n tree up when kids are at school then they're surprised when they get home, and it's my youngests birthday beginning of December too.

I love Christmas films. I love the home alone series but for a proper Christmas film I love Miracle on 34th st I love Christmas time. its so lovely! hate having to take the decs down. Am already planning how to decorate the table for dinner!

I love christmas too but find nowadays it's the whole run up that's more exciting than christmas itself! Christmas is cancelled this year, no pressies from us lol xx

I already have all of OHs familys except grandparents who normally get a plant etc. And on my side just need my sister, dad and Aunt :) I love MILs present. some moles for the garden. So cute!

I've not even started thinking about what to get who yet,I get the kids to write lists of what they'd like and 'send them' to Santa. I hate taking it all down because that's when it hits me I need to diet after all the booze and food I pig out on,lol I don't get excited on Christmas Day now tho as I normally buy and wrap my own prezzies off OH and kids,in fact I do it all,buy wrap,decorate, cook. I did that last year for my OH (except the wrapping part) and it was a bit oh I know what I have. But have refused this year and he knows he needs to make an effort. kick him into shape!

I think that's what going to happen,I'll write a list like the kids do,ha ha. Never realised how much I done until it's written down! He can get his butt kicked and do something now. I've told him that I really want a pandora bracelet off the kids and charms for it every birthday and Xmas then so he knows that one. We will see......

My OH has realised how his lack of effort with birthdays and Christmas upsets me. it isn't that I want him to buy me something expensive but it would be nice for the effort to be there. don't even get a card at Christmas
OH loves otters and I want to get him an experience day with them. Would mean a holiday in Dorset though which is a bit pricy maybe the christmas after the wedding :)

He does cards for birthdays and valentines he doesn't see the point in Xmas cards but does still get me one. It's just presents he tells me to choose my own,grrr men are soooo thoughtless sometimes x

Oh I would hate that! I slays make a big effort at Christmas and wrap with ribbon and bows and everything so I would hold a massive grudge if my hubs did that:(
It is our first Christmases a married couple but mainly our first one without his dad. As we still live at his home while we save for a house it's going to be very 'off'ish this year x

I can't believe I've been married a year, it's flown by. So many other people have said the same. We've achieved everything we wanted to in this year (just). We knew we needed to move house, and I'd hoped I would get pregnant within the year as well. I started to think it wouldn't happen as it took so long to exchange contracts, and initially we weren't going to try until we moved house. We hoped to move in June. Then we decided we would start trying once we exchanged contracts, and I figured I would be happy if I conceived by my birthday. We still didn't exchange and I started thinking that I might just get pregnant by Christmas. As it happens we started trying in July anyway, despite not having exchanged, and after two cycles I conceived before my birthday after all. I'm feeling generally ok at the moment, but I have had stomach cramps. Occasionally I have a little bit of nausea, usually after eating, but it generally passes quite quickly. I'm also really tired, but we're working so hard to get the house done up that that isn't really surprising. I'm looking forward to meeting the midwife and then getting my scan. I'll be a lot happier once I've had that reassurance that the heart is beating and everything is as it should be. I also really want to know what gender it is, as does my husband.

urgh! had an email this morning from R0yal m@il saying they were delivering a package so got OH out of bed to make sure he was in to sign for it. Just had another one saying that they were unable to deliver and sending it back to B0dy Sh0p!! So annoying as he has been in and up since 7am waiting for it so hasn't missed the doorbell its just sheer incompetence. Will be so annoyed if I get recharged delivery.. will call them up when I get home.

Managed to get another hours sleep. In tonight then off for 4 nights. Been to SW and lost 2.5lb. I weigh less now than before I got pregnant with LO but feel a lot worse now. Pregnancy changes your body so much. Booked in to start Pilates classes next week. Then going to book into some kind of exercise class. Hopefully that helps tone the mummy tummy!

I need some tummy toning too after having LO. So strange that I weigh a lot less now than when I fell pregnant yet I looked and felt better than I do now. I had a flat(ish) belly but I wouldn't change having LO for anything.

Mrs mw, my kids love it, my 14 year old cried at one point as well.
So far I have no plans for the weekend, I think though we need to get in the loft and shed to sort out all the camping gear.
