One of my work besties is so into Christmas it's untrue, she loves it so much, her plan is to run round revolving doors, make a Christmas tree light up with the lift buttons in the Empire State Building and go to have a cuppa where they sell the 'worlds best cup of coffee', amongst other things.

The scan is done and all is looking healthy. I have an extremely wriggly little boy on the way. So wriggly that he was making life difficult for the sonographer. Twice I had to lie on my side, and eventually she sent me to empty my bladder as it was too full and the baby wouldn't change position.
30th August 2014 was the best birthday ever.
It was the day that I became Mrs. Dixon.
Still nobody is moving to sort out dinner even though it's only something little that needs doing, the door knocked literally just, hubby looked at me as if to say who is that and are you going to answer it. My look said it all,

My daughter just came back from babysitting Freddie for an hour, she walked in and asked where her dinner was, I said in the slow cooker along ŵith everyone else's, my youngest then said she was hungry, so I said well all that needs doing is the tortillas heating up and everything put on the table. Hubby realised I was not planning on moving so has got up and done it,

I can remember going for a 4d scan and had to walk around the car park for half an hour as LO was hugging the umbilical cord so we couldn't get a clear shot of him. Loved seeing him on the scans. I've got all mine in a photo album along with some first year pics

Ladies I need a bit of advice please
Looking to buy the colour contrast card for our invjtes but because my bm dresses are. Well. Difficult to match to anythjng to say the least I'm struggling to choose which colour paper will be the best match for the invites (I know people won't be matching them up with the dresses but if it's too red people might think the theme is red)
The first and last is the actual dress and the two in the middle are the papers .. Which do you think is best?

God knows Michelle - id have thought so but he said his boss sent him home yesterday so not sure.
The dresses are the first and last swatches Michelle. We've had to incorporate cadburys purple but on a very small scale so it would be too much to use purple card ..

I know it's hard to determine what it'll look like In real life. I ordered some ribbon that from the photo was a perfect match to the dress. It came and it was dusty pink even though it was called coral! Argh note to others .. Pick normal coloured bm dresses!

Had a quick read through today's thread... Been manic at work and I've cleaned the house through bar the kitchen which I'm gonna do in a mo!

Definitely not me, I've been sterilised lol.... 4 between us is enough! GF, your lot need a swift kicking. I'm pleased you stood your ground.
Need to tackle the mountain of ironing now.... Think I'm going to hang it all on hangers, take it upstairs and just deal with it when I wear it. My iron keeps tripping the electrics so need to find a plug on a separate circuit to the washer, tumble dryer, etc etc....

Make up done, hair dried, bathroom bins emptied, left the food bin in a prominent place to see if they will do it.
I've just been sitting here thinking yep ok so hubby goes to work in the day, but what does he doe at home, not a lot. Today is a prime example, I may be here all day whilst he is at work, but where am I when he is in bed sleeping? That'll be work then. And he's sat here yawning his head off and has been since I got up.

Yep, I've made it known or at least I hope I have that I am annoyed with it all, so who knows what will happen, most likely nothing. I know if I had not put dinner in the slow cooker he would not have got up to go and make it, it would have been left to me when I got up, even though it was fajitas and could have been done quickly

I've managed to sort all the clean clothes and hang what I could. LO stuff I've folded and popped on the table and finally sorted all the socks and underwear out. Our drawers are full again... Yipeeeeee. I hate doing laundry!

I think our washer eats socks .. Mine all have patterns on the bottom and I have 13 odd pairs!!!! I only have about 2 full pairs left!
