Hi Guys hope you are all well. Have just been popping in from time to time after the last 6 weeks. Well am now married and after 6 weeks off work now back in the UK for 2 weeks of work as from tomorrow, Now it is time to diet put on so much weight over the last couple of weeks. We went away after the weddings for a week and had a fantastic time, just cant believe how quick the time has gone.
On a secret note I can tell you guys got a job interview when I go home next time so fingers crossed I won't be travelling back and forwards from Spain to the UK, J has told me not to tell anyone but so excited about it. Here is hoping x

New job will be at home in Spain and something different from doing care work! Longer hours mon - Fri so no 2 weeks on and 2 weeks off, will have to work some Saturdays though! x Least I will be home permanently.

Emily I thought when you were saying cbt you were talking about motorbikes but then when ec mention so nlp, resisted you were talking cognitive behavioral therapy- hope it works for you, a girl at work is Gavin's it following a car crash, taking her back to a time before then crash and she felt OK, guess it's like hypnotherapy in a way?

Well the box was for me :-) I got flowers, a balloon and chocs from OH and LO for my birthday. The delivery company got the date as OH had to put deliver on my bday Friday

Evening, could not eat much dinner. The kids wanted meatballs but when it came to eating it I never wanted it.

The doctor just rang and said I'm not anaemic. Bit surprised, but very impressed that he came back to me so quickly, and made the effort to ring me. I was told three working days. The only thing he said is that my white blood cell count is slightly high, which apparently is normal in pregnancy. However he wanted to make sure that it isn't the result of an infection, so suggested that I ask for an appointment with a nurse and take a urine sample that she can dip. There's no symptoms so it's probably fine, just a case of better safe than sorry. I might end up doing a urine sample for the midwife anyway, so it may be that she can do that.

Also, GPs can look at what levels we normally on a non pregnant person, and because pregnancy can alter them they don't think about that.

Flipping flunking annoyed! The kids go to their dad's once a fortnight, on Saturday night just gone they were meant to go but he said to them if they wanted to stay at friends that night as it was Halloween they could do. So guess what, they ended up with us. Did mean they got to see their Uncle from the states though, but he said he'd have this weekend, so my daughter sends a text to him asking if she could go Friday instead as she'd been invited to a firework party at her bffs nana, so he said he won't be there as he is going diving! Wtf??? Why not book to do these activities on the weekend he does not have them. So he said to her, oh come over on the 14th and 21st instead. So I pointed out he has them on the 28th as well, the night we we at the party so not changing that one! I've never stopped him seeing them, yet when they stop going over to him it will be my fault.

The GP did say ir's normal for the levels to be high, but he didn't like to ignore it as the one time he ignores it will be the one time that there is actually an infection. There are no symptoms so I'm sure it's fine, but I don't mind popping in just to cover all possibilities. I'm actually a bit disappointed that I didn't come out as anaemic though, I was so sure I would be, and then iron tablets would probably have made a difference.

Hubby spent most of last night sleeping from when ee went on until the last 15mins of walking dead. We started watching ee tonight and he said what on earth happened to Gavin then? What have I missed? I said most of tv from last night as he was sleeping. Still tried to say he was not

Forgot to mention finally got MRI results on my hip. I have tendonitis and tendons are inflamed don't do any sports so probably all the running round I usually do when at work, off to see physio again when I am off work next.

I always tell the women what it is, if it's the lower end of normal I would encourage them to eat iron rich foods, but always say, your iron level is bla bla bla

Think I may head to bed now. Hopefully sleep better tonight. Kept waking up last nights I dropped off, the up a few times in the night, that's was down to stupid Aunt Flo and being hot,

OH and I are trying to get iron rich foods into some meals anyway, maybe that's how I've stayed within a normal range. We haven't done so well this week, but usually we manage to get some dark green leafy vegetable like broccoli or spinach in. I might have to resort to dark chocolate this week, what a shame.

Morning... Another rubbish night for me too Emma. Every day LO is getting me up at 4.40 it's driving me crazy. Sometimes he stays awake or once I've got up to sort him he goes back to sleep but then I'm wide awake then. So tired.

Not got any plans today. Text my mum lady night to see what she's doing today as not seen her for nearly 3 weeks due to LO and I being Ill but she never replied, even though she'd only text me 5mins before!

Out for birthday tea tonight with my sister which I am not looking forward to after the texts I was getting yesterday about the wedding etc

The nicest sources of iron are dark chocolate and red wine. Obviously I'm not on the wine at the minute (although on special occasions I allow myself one).
