Is he still in a mood becci?
CommentAuthorBecci93
Not so much today Michelle but he hasn't discussed anything I said yeaterdah and he's come home from work and just dumped his oily uniform in front of the washer as usual expecting me to do it and still hasn't put his clean washing away from the spare bed room that's been building up for the last three months like he was told to.
He had a go at me when I asked him if he's really turned on the extractor fan

Becci, I hate hearing people eat as well, and slurp and gulp, and breathing heavily. There is an actual disorder for it
That's exactly what makes my skin crawl gf .. It infuriates me!!
Especially on public transport but my little sister and oh are both noisy eaters it drives me mad but you can't say anything else they get defensive.
Oh has just had the cheek to shout through from the kitchen 'don't put sharp knives in the cutlery tray that way up!' At least it means he's actually put something in the dishwasher
Now he's telling me off for putting some water with burner oil in it to use for the fragrance burners in a shot glass because 'he wanted to use it now' even though I used the shot glass yesterday. He has a cheek telling me off when he behaves like he does.
CommentAuthorGlitterfairy
There is no need for it. Hubby's kids used to cham a lot when they first came over, I had to put a stop to it. I've been known to walk out of a room before now because of it.

I tend to do the same gf because the confrontation about it just causes them to be offended or defensive
CommentAuthorElinor Claire
I must admit I do have a thing about sharp knives going in the dishwasher point up,I don't like it. Cheeky of him to criticise though.

We don't have a dishwasher at home, we have a space for it and a switch on the wall (all our switches for the fridg, oven, extractor fan etc are on one panel marked up). Have thought about getting one maybe one day

I got sick of oh just piling all the pots in dirty dish water and never cleaning them meaning a weeks worth of washing would mount up and muggins here has to clean them.
So now we have a dishwasher oh just piles all the pots up on top of the dishwasher until I come home to make tea and discover there's no pans or anything

He rarely fills or empty a but will always rearrange it....- men are impossible!

Becci make sure you just leave them on the floor- don't wash the. For him- when he has nothing for work he may moan but just say, well why haven't you washed them? Lol not your fault if he hasn't got clean clothes!

I'm not a big takeaway fan but oh likes to have chippy on a Friday but I find them too greasyA I will have a pizza from the independent shop but again I feel bloated after them- so I often end up with toast or soup on a Friday - but last night as I was back so late I have a grilled chicken kebab in a pita and salad- was nice

I told him that they wouldn't walk in the washing machine themselves so I suggested he did something about it so he did.

Idl with the bread- you need to knead for a good 10 mins, leave to prove to double in size, knock back and let rise again before baking, not sure if oven was too hot?
CommentAuthorInDreamland
I used the dough hook on the mixer (k3nw00d version of a k1tch3n @1d).
I did the prove twice and it did double in size, set oven to temperature in the recipe, hmmmmmmm.

Going to attempt the chocolate mousse you told me about next weekend. Have you ever used egg whites out of a carton? Saves separating them and being left with a load of yolks. Wonder if ones from carton any good.

Feel so happy and proud of my pup.
It been more than 3 and a Half months since I last walked him because of my back and he wouldn't go in the yard earlier this morning because it was raining and kept standing at the front door so I thought I'd give it a go.
I picked up his gentle leader and he let me slide it on his nose (he doesn't for oh he growls and howls at him lol) and I inlocked the door so he backed up behind me and calmly walked out after me.. I kept him on a short lead so he could feel me at the end and took him for a 10 minute walk .. He was perfect! He start to kick off when one man walked past put I gave him a quick no on the lead and Said ahah and he stopped immediately! The man even gave me a little smile then another man walked by soon after and Oz just looked at him and looked back at me - no attitude and that man smiled too!! Ozzy has always been an idiot on the lead but he was on his best behaviour!!
He asked to go out again tonight so after he was so good at lunch I thought why not so slipped his gentle leader on again and Simon was fuming that he didn't kick off howling at me like he does for him haha took him for a longer walk and he heard fireworks saw a dog and people and no commotion just nice and calm! He even walked through the dark park with me and he never used to walk through dark places he used to tear up to avoid walking through them!
So proud of him
Sounds so silly to be happy that I've been able to do such a day to day thing but I really enjoyed being able to take him out :)
CommentAuthorInDreamland
Why would it split? What do I have to avoid doing?
Hmmmmm, I'm clueless when it comes to baking bread.

We ended up doing a meal for two from T3sc0, as time was getting on after the wedding blessing. It was a lovely service to celebrate 20 years of marriage and renew vows. I was a bit concerned as those of us singing sat right in front of a radiator, and it was partly heat that caused me to faint last week, but I had plenty of water and I was fine. The hymn was the same one that I fainted during last week as well. It made me laugh when the vicar said 'don't feel you have to stand if it will be difficult', as the minister last week after I fainted said at one point 'would you stand if you are able to do so', and it was clearly directed at me. The vicar may have been aiming it more generally, but I know she was really worried about me fainting during the service. The only thing I was worried about was surviving until after the anthem, as there was no one to take over. The director had tried to get someone else to avoid pressure on me but no one was available. He did allow more breathing places than usual though as staggering the breathing wasn't an option (we were one to a part). It all went well in the end.

There is some flour that doesn't look mixed in smack in the middle of the loaf, almost like the flour picked up when shaping it and I folded in underneath or something.

Becci that's lovely, particularly with the fireworks going off. He obviously trusts you, and you've obviously trained him well. My parents' spaniel used to tug on the end of the lead, and couldn't seem to work out why he couldn't then breathe (the lead was attached to his collar). He used to go berserk as soon as he even saw the lead, he got so excited. My friend and former landlady had a dog that sometimes needed too people to get his lead on, as it involved a harness, and he couldn't keep still because he couldn't wait to go out. He couldn't grasp that if he kept still he'd get his walk faster.
