Wedding Forum - GENERAL CHINWAG THREAD w/c 29th June 2015 -...

Stuck in the middle again :(

Morning all well last night was horrendous. Woke up at 2.30 from the sound of the rain and thunder. Could hear dripping so woke OH up and we've got a leak through the ceiling in the front room. But towels down the try and get most of the water up and put a bucket there to catch the rest. That took about an hour. OH put the radio on in the kitchen as the dog was scared bless him.

LO got up at 6 so got him up and have him his breakfast. He's gone to work with OH for a couple of hours this morning so I can get cleaned and tidied ready for later. He had his little hi vis on. Looked so cute.

Went in the conservatory and the floor was swimming so we need to get that fixed too.

Got sil and mil coming at 10 to help prepare sandwiches etc for the party seen as though my mum said she's not coming now :(

One bathroom cleaned, kitchen cleaned now time to Hoover up .

Morning ladies. I am knackered, the storm here kept me up for a while. Was absolutely bucketing it down and seemed like the thunder and lightning went on for ages. There was one particular loud clap which sounded very very close which made me jump out of my skin and shout expletives hahah.

Just waiting for my mum to pick me up, we are going for a mooch around the shops and coffee. Need to put my face on then that's me ready.

I first got woken up by the rain. The lightning followed very shortly after with distant rumbles in the background but it got closer and closer as time went on. I really needed a wee as well but I was too scared to get out of bed and go!!

It's cloudy and cool here but it's nice to be honest..... I need to get cleaned up and get the washing done but can't be bothered. OH has nipped out to buy a fad diet thing from a mate and then to get his hair cut. He's done really well through healthy eating this week. He has lost 6lb in a week!! He wants to lose 3 St before the wedding but I think that's too much. I don't want him skinny. I love him being chunky but he wants to do it for him so I got to get behind him x

He has got a wobbly belly but I like that.... He's got a big chest/shoulders and arms (muscle wise) but a fat tummy lol.....

I don't like toned toned men.... I like a natural look but ya know, I love him regardless and if he feels he needs to then so be it!!

Lol.... It's always difficult trying somewhere new as you want the experience but as its a special night you don't want to be disappointed x

Evening.

We had thunder and lightning at 4:30 this morning! Was rather strange.
We went to my new works launch night and had a few drinks. Got in bit after 1am and Adams been hunger ALL day. It's actually annoying now because I've barely spoke to him all day. me and MIL have ordered a kebab lol.

Evening all. Not long home from work, put LO to bed and ordered an Indian, OH gone to pick it up can't wait I'm starving.

Morning all....

It's not sunny here yet but it's still warm. LO woke me up at 7.15 but I'm glad actually as I've showered and washed my hair. Just got to get his stuff together as he's staying at his dad's tonight and we are taking OH little girl out for lunch x

Morning all well I did phone my mum once I'd got 5 mins...which turned in to nearly an hour phone call. U said it's selfish that they're not coming to see LO so she agreed and they came but didn't come back to our house for the BBQ which was fair enough. Them and OH kept their distance. Everyone really enjoyed it.

We came back to out house just after 4pm and the drinks started flowing. At 6pm we started the BBQ as id not ate all day I was starving. Once the BBQ had done I got cracking with cleaning the buffet stuff away as didn't want to end up doing it all today.
1.30am came and id had enough as all I was doing was cleaning everywhere and tidying up after everyone. OH was in the hot tub with his mates so everyone finally went about 2am. Was a good day.

LO got me up at 6 :-( so while he was eating his breakfast I've been washing all the glasses and BBQ stuff etc outside and tidying up. 2 loads of washing in as no one brought their own towels for the hot tub.

Now got LO in the bath and I'm going to have a shower as my back and feet are killing me. OH still snoring in bed :-(

Hiya all.

Had a lovely night, we want out for a meal as the venue could not cater for us as they had a big function on, we joined in on the party later on though as one of the band 7 midwives was organising it. Went to see her and she said oh you should have text me and I could have snook you in for the meal as well.

That's the third load of washing done, bathroom cleaned, hoovering done, LO asleep and OH has got up and sat in the chair and done f all to help

He's now gone back to sleep in the chair... What a joke!!

He's just come in the bedroom when I was doing my hair. I said enjoy your sleep did you. You could of hoovered or done something to help as I've not stopped for 3 days solid. He just said why am I being like that

Afternoon, ladies!

Lazy day today - slept in sooo late (past 11!) - after a hard day at work yesterday. It was so hot, even after the weird storm we had overnight!

for once ive had quite a productive day .... sorted my travel insurance with my leg covered for free .... sorted last shopping before go away ... dyed hair ....done washing and got it dried .. all ironing done .
