I am scared of them if outside, but I'm okay inside. Lightning scares me the most, I always worry I will get struck. I have a thing about standing too close to windows when there is lightning!

I am scared even if I'm inside, I'm not really sure why but I hate them! I start to panic when I hear thunder as I know lightning is coming!

Oh dear, @lton t0w3rs not having a great time of it. Just seen the @ir ride broke down yesterday leaving 80 people hanging upside down for hours! Imagine that on the hottest day of the year too...

My daughter came home from school and she was sobbing her heart out. When she was crossing the road earlier she was half way across when a car sped towards her, so she rushed onto the pavement, and this parent from the school started saying how she is a year 6 and should know better and that she was a bad influence to her children bla bla bla and she was going to let the school know about it. So i have messaged the school and told them to expect this and that I am extremely angry about it as how dare she talk about her like that when in fact she was not in the wrong at all. I wanted to put it onto their actual page but thought best not, I will be sensible and do it via a private message.

That's awful GF. Would have been nice for the parent to check she was okay rather than grilling her for something that wasn't even her fault! People shock me these days.

There was no need to speak to her like that. If the parent had a problem she should have spoken to her own children privately telling them about how to cross the road etc, absolutely no reason to speak to your daughter like that!

It was a good job I never saw her going through town actually or I may have said something to her.

Some people just have a chip on their shoulder and enjoy bullying others regardless of their age.

Actually that reminds me, I saw a video on the book face earlier about a woman who left their child in a car whilst she went shopping, people noticed but did nothing until some chap realised something was up, and smashed the window, they were doing cpr as the mother came back!! Why oh why would anyone do that??

Oh, I read it was for hours lol.. I guess the media are likely to blow it out of proportion after recent happenings. Even at the end of the day it would have still been roasting though! I wouldn't fancy being upside down for 5 mins let alone 20-30 either!

That is truly awful GF, why would you ever do that?! It's one thing leaving your dogs in baking hot cars (which is also disgusting and incredibly stupid) but your CHILD?!

I got 2 vouchers via email yesterday for our local pub. Buy 1 big plate special get 1 free, and a £5 off a £15 spend voucher. Too good to refuse so think we will have to use them before they expire at the end of the month!
