I'm still peed off with hubby and told him so and he's given me the silent treatment now, when he left for work he came upstairs and gave me a kiss though and said goodbye, I did not move my lips. I think if he is going to text me today at his lunch break, it will be something like afternoon babe....... Bla bla bla. Hate it when he thinks he can just shrug things off like that.

The first year a leap year happened after I met hubby was 2008, I asked him in a 'jokingly but also secretly hopeful' way, only to be told to go away!!!!

I am excited but also feeling a bit anxious.. I hate having things hanging over me, just can't wait for it all to be sorted now and to be able to settle down into some sort of routine. We're part X'ing both our cars... mine is f***ed anyway so it's just easier to do that with mine, we're losing quite a bit of money on OH's but we trade in 2 old cars and get a brand spanking new one :-)

Glad DiCaprio finally won an Oscar, although I haven't seen the film. A few British successes too.

It's such a lovely sunny day today, think I might spend it in the garden having a tidy up. Going to chop my rose bushes back, if they don't grow again, no great loss though

Morning ladies - We've just had a weekend down with my folks as they are off on a 12 day cruise to Iceland, and it is also my Nan's 75th birthday this week so we all went out for dinner.

I proposed to my OH back in December but I'm not a traditionalist so it wasn't a problem for me to take the reins :)

My baby girl and I are having another day in today - I've been battling an ENT infection all week so trying to stay as warm as possible!

I've got a day off work today to use up some annual leave. May go into town later, I'll see how I go. I want to start sorting through all the baby clothes that people have given us to see what gaps there are.

Work is so busy today, end of the month so lots need doing for accounts and my boss, who is really not my boss anymore has got me doing lots!

Not been on for a while as had a lot of stuff to 'try' and sort out. Mums dog had to be pts as he's been v poorly then my pup pined for him and wouldn't eat so have vets concerned. vets said to give him something mums dog played with a lot and he's ok now,funny things these animals,but I loves him. Mums poorly but not sure what it is Drs think either kidneys or gallbladder she's a scan tomorrow to hopefully find out. OH hasn't seen his kids since Xmas and his ex being a witch telling him he's a sad excuse of a father n stuff. But fingers crossed back on track apart from his kids that is.

Not normally I don't, I just want to do it this week I see what they are like, I am sure the kids will eat what is in the book as well but I can merge a lot of it with what I am cooking anyhoo,

It was yummy! Yeah he did - we finished off the cheesecake yesterday but still have his birthday cake that we've not even touched yet!

I always do that Em, hate eating unless I've reached a particular milestone I've set myself lol xx

I'd love to do something like that for OH but not sure I'm that good haha!

We have to cook 2 different dishes every night, it is annoying but we are used to it now so it's not really a bother anymore, OH cooks his and I cook mine at the same time. We do generally have the same kind of thing too so use the same sauce etc.

How come you have separate meals Emma?

Oh right, that's a bit of a pain but would get used to it fairly quickly.
