GF, those kids sound awful. I know they shouldn't have to and you don't want them ending up in trouble, but at least her siblings are looking out for her.

Morning ladies, taken my boss up on working from home today. Not feeling any worse than yesterday at least but just bunged up and the thought of being able to stay in my jammies rather than getting dressed and ready was much more appealing!
Not got much planned for the weekend, meeting my mum for coffee tomorrow morning but that's it! How about you Sarah? xx

Sounds good Sarah. I'm actually thinking about joining the gym now... OH said last night he wants to join. We used to go together and it was good because we spurred each other on. There is one down the road that is not anything special at all but it does the job, only £19.99 a month with no contract. So might do that... hmmm...
I've got dance tonight which may be interesting with snot flying everywhere lol!
That would be good Flossie esp if your going to go together it really does make a difference and not being tied to a contract is good too xx

It's so frustrating julie - you'd have thought they'd have a record of how many times theyve turned people down!! Have you looked into the charity places there may be some that are only £100 or so that isn't too bad to pay if you can get the sponsors that's what me and mum did for great north run .. Mum absolutely overshot the £100 mark and got about £250 but I struggled as my generation aren't the giving type! We were doing it for a centre that helps given Down's syndrome suffering children an education... Even though I couldn't do it I gave my place to someone else Gf - glad to hear my oh is not the only PITA that's as much use a choc fire guard .. Don't expect anythjng to be fine unless you've provided step by step instructions even if he's done jt a million times!!
I'll be loving you and leaving you all this weekend as heading off down to Great Yarmouth at 10 (6 hour drive my back is cringing already at the thought) for a netball tournament at butl1ns I'm sure I'll be likening myself to a choc fire guard there because of the pain but I'm going to try my best!!

He's so cute Flossie haha! Mine tends to just walk all over my laptop when I'm working from home making it very hard to do any work!
CommentAuthorBecci93
Or if I'm on a phone call I can guarentee someone will post something so he roars at the door and launches himself at it and the person on the other end is like what an earth was that!
CommentAuthorFlossie
Hahaha. Oscar gets confused when we speak on the phone as he can hear the voice at the other end and expects them to be here, so he goes round looking for them and then just starts barking at the phone when he can't find them as if it's a really suspicious device haha.

Some of you girls will remember the trouble I had with my mam and sister over the wedding last year and that we haven't spoke since march last year? Well, we bumped into my mam And stepdad for the first time on Wednesday in morrison$ and they totally ignored us! I was getting milk while hubs went to the next aisle and camt back and said guess who I've just seen... Then said they were that close on a corner my mams trolley nearly hit him and they didn't say anything and walked off!

Also after that went we got to the tills to pay (luckily we were first!) we went to the right hand side and hubs said he saw them come round the corner towards the tills and my mam had the trolley facing to come our direction but when she saw us turned it so they went to the one in front of them in a longer que!! I wish I had saw that xx

I couldn't imagine my mum doing that, I fell out with my mum earlier in the year but were talking now and even throughout that time I still text her now and again and sent her a bday card and present, mothers day etc! but for your mum to do that that's really bad xx

Yeah. There was no Christmas card, birthday card and obviously I'm still not on the Christmas card list this year either! They all deleted me off fb last year too, however my sister waited and didn't delete me until either just before orjustafter the wedding, I didn't really notice when I stopped seeing her! X

It was so awkward we couldn't help but just laugh! I generally thought after my FIL died in June they would know about it and might text. Nope, nothing! And I absolutely know they know because my oldest niece text me a couple of weeks after asking to come round and I said it wasnt the best time and she didn't know. So I'd obviously told her And she would have told them if they didn't know (my sister still has my Inst@gram and would be able to see). We had the local paper round on Tuesday about our fundraising event and when it was published we shared it on fb and my niece even shared it for us! Xx

Awww April that's awful, my dads the same though tbh so know how you feel, he's moved house without telling me,when he got remarried I didn't even know as wasn't invited even now I couldn't tell you when they got married.it hurts as I wanted him to walk me down the isle as my sisters already been married and he wasn't there either.(we all fell out for a few years). I took my OH to his old house to introduce him and he never even acknowledged him. That was it for me. Xx

I don't talk to my dad either pinky, he chose not to speak to me and my sis, luckily we are very close with our gran (his mum) and see her all the time he even stopped talking to her years ago too and he lives miles away in Chesterfield, I found our half brother on FB in February and found out he walked out of his life when he was 2! so grateful to have found my brother and we speak almost every day now. I really couldn't care less if I ever seen him again he means nothing to me! always baffles me how a parent can just ignore there child xx

I've got a little bit of dilemma and don't know what to do... can you ladies offer me some of your pearls of wisdom?!
I've booked to go for afternoon tea at our wedding venue with one of my bridesmaids - the one who has been the subject of some b1tching from 2 of the other bridesmaids and their relationship is a little bit strained/awkward at the moment. All 5 of us were supposed to be going for afternoon tea at the venue for our Christmas get together but we couldn't all agree a date, so we scrapped the idea and are doing something in the new year combined with bridesmaid shoe shopping instead. Now my dilemma is do I tell the others I am going with just the 1 bridesmaid, or do I keep schtum unless it comes up in conversation? I don't want them to feel like I am purposely leaving them out, but afternoon tea was originally this bridesmaid's idea and she is so so desperate to see the venue. I also feel I owe it to her to spend some 1:1 time with her as she has been feeling a bit pushed out recently.
What do we think?? xx
