Having had three days off in a row it's felt like annual leave. Off to the gym soon and then meeting my friend for lunch, then work tonight for three nights. Somehow need to buy a tree in that time as well ready for Thursday when it goes up.

Loads of laundry to do today, 2 loads worth. Also have to pop to the high street to drop off some dry cleaning and pick up a big package from the post office that couldn't be delivered when we were away.
Groceries being delivered between 12 noon and 1pm too.
Although need to buy bread and milk whilst I'm up the high street for hubby.

Good Morning Ladies,
In a rather good mood today actually managed to have two lie ins at the weekend and sleep past 7am so happy.
Just brought some more little bits for the wedding and will be doing a little Christmas shopping at lunch. Its going to be so weird being able to say we get married next year soon.

Heya all, hope you've had a dandy weekend. We've had a quiet one really, I didn't even get dressed yesterday- how lazy,lol Mum goes or her second chemo this weekend she seems to be taking to it like a duck to water bless her. Unfortunately she had some bad news to go on top of her own troubles that her aunt has growth in her stomach which was to be drained in hospital but while in has had a nasty fall resulting in a bleed to the brain, they don't think she will be here for Xmas

I haven't had to buy a tree this year :) We have my moms old one and also have one that the people we bought the house off left in the loft. I have bought a few bits to decorate the house... we got a snowman and OHs Nan bought us a Father Christmas. Look lovely in the window. If i get chance i'll put a pic up later :)
I'm not allowed my tree up yet as its OH birthday on the 8th so has to go up after then :( Were away for his birthday this year. After last year was so sh1t I decided to book for it to be just me and him and not any family around at all. Think I'll be so emotional.. We fly to Amsterdam early Wednesday morning, his birthday Thursday and then home Friday night.
I was looking forward to it but our relationship has been really unsteady for about a month now. Just seem to argue every day.. I was using his 1p@d (not unusual, we always use each others) and found that he had been watching p0rn. I wasn't surprised but It really upset me that he was searching for people that really aren't anything like me. It just made me feel unappreciated and not good enough for him if hes looking for different things. We have talked and he has told me that he does find me attractive etc and we have tried s3x since but I just can't do it. We are constantly at each others heads. Any tips??

Evening all
Busy night shift last night, I was so tired. Got in, put something in the slow cooker, peeled the spuds, and made the bed. I asked hubby to strip it so that I could just make it quickly, slept pretty much ok but not enough.
Popped to @rgo5 and got some bits, had no make up on, I did not care. Haha.
Mrs c, we don't have a h0m3b@s3 here, I always go to a local establishment that sells them as I know they are good trees. We are getting that tomorrow.

It was freeeezing this morning. My car had MOT and service this morning, took myself to the local garden centre for breakfast which was a 10 minute waddle up the road and could hardly feel my face by the time I got there. Brrrr. Glad that's all sorted for another year though and not tooo painful on the bank balance for once!

Sorry to hear that Emily. You've got to try and realise that men and p0rns relationship is nothing like ours. It's hard to imagine but it's purely physical and completely separated to his feelings towards you. The fact the women are nothing like you is a good thing as it's completely abstract and a complete opposite to reality. It's all fantasy and fiction and he will know that..

Work in just in sane at the moment- not a minute to think of breathe- OH too is constantly working and we both get home late- have dinner sit on the sofa not even talking and go to bed drained!

So much for a better week this week.
My Grandfathers condition has got worse and the infection is now in his bone marrow. Dr's have said there is now no chance he will be allowed out for Christmas and that he could be in hospital for a further 18 months :( Chances are he wont make it to our wedding to walk me down the aisle either.

Our baby boy come back today after spending 2 nights at nana's (feels like forever!). I can't wait to see him and give him lots of cuddles and kisses. We've missed him like mad.

*RANT ALERT*
I well and truly give up! Clearly our family don't have enough to deal with already.
That's twice now the lab have not done the blood test we desperately need. What part of could be life threatening do they not understand!
Well they can forget it if they even think for a second I am putting my baby back onto food's that make his face and eyes swell up like a balloon just for some stupid bloods that should have been done 4 months ago. I think I was plenty fair enough giving them a second chance after not doing them the first time round.
I'd rather get no help and pay for all his free from foods then risk another bad reaction or even (god forbid) losing him.
I'm so mad I'm shaking.

Why have they not done them? I don't understand why they wouldn't if they've been taken, unless they've clotted which is not their fault, just something that happens.
I've had a lazy afternoon and now off to the gym.

They said the first time round they where not done because they didn't read the forms properly and by the time they noticed the blood had already been disposed of. The hospital had to ring them and chase them up and that's the only reason we found out.
This time round they haven't even given an excuse. Even his dr can't understand why the hell they haven't been done. He has asked them both times if there was a problem with the blood and if it had clotted and they said no. He's as livid about it as I am. It's two different labs as well because he refused to send the second lot of bloods to the same place he had before because of the mess up.

Can you take him direct to the path lab with the form, that way you know they are there and done.

Unfortunately not, because of his age it has to be taken by the hospital. Apparently path lab blood nurses are not trained to take bloods from a baby or young child. (not around our area anyway) Thanks Emily. Dr has said if he decides to do the test again,he is not doing it until March/April next year. Its not fair to put him through it all at Christmas or his birthday.

That's awful Tiffany. Bad enough if it's an adult but much worse when a child is having to have multiple blood samples taken. I think the doctor is right to leave it a little while, even if food costs you more in the meantime. At least freefrom ranges are pretty varied now. Could you get the test done privately?

Busy time right now so I haven't been around. Joseph was christened a couple of weeks ago which was a lovely occasion. My dad did the baptism. Since then hubby has been snowed under organising volunteers for the nativity project, and I've had rehearsal not only for that but also for the opera Amahl and the Night Visitors which runs alongside. I'm joining the chorus this year. Tomorrow hubby is in charge of Joseph while I take a turn acting, and I have opera rehearsal in the evening. It means that for the first time I won't be around for any of bedtime, I'll be away from Joseph from 8:45 in the morning to about 9:30 at night. Longest I've been away from him. Part of me is looking forward to it, part of me is dreading it. I know hubby will be fine, and Joseph will cope as long as he gets attention and food, but I do feel like I should be there. I'll be messaging hubby all day reminding him of what food to give, which is totally unnecessary.

I've not really thought about going private to be honest Elinor Claire but it's certainly something I will look into. It's difficult getting him a variety of foods. He can't have Wheat, Rice milk, Dairy or Soya and they have took him off gluten. We also have to be careful with shellfish, seafood and any type of nut.
It's a nightmare but on a plus side he loves his fruit, veg and water :D
One good thing has come out of them not doing the test, we can have a nice happy family Christmas without baby being in pain with his tummy.

We had chippy for dinner, it was lush.
Had a wonderful day at the Victorian Christmas, then popped to town. Hubby is djing tonight, he took my son with him so I'm here with one of my daughters, the other one is with her dad at the jingle bell ball, she time faced us when Olly murs came on and my other daughte cried as she loves him so much.

Woke up early but decided to get up and start the laundry as been called in to do a night shift tonight. Hopefully will get a sleep in at some point but I feel a little dodgy. Think the chippy dinner I had last night has not sat properly, late yesterday I started to feel a bit unwell, tummy still not feeling brill this morning. I cannot be sick as I'm covering for sickness.
