I'd thought about it but I don't know exactly what she's said to him so I don't want to seem like I'm being petty. Don't really want to stoop down to her level and go running to boss man... just wish this team meeting was at the start of next week and not the end! I'd like to think he knows enough about me and my standard of work to know not to take anything she says with a pinch of salt but it's annoying not being able to fight my corner about it!

Maybe make some notes about it instead? I always find if there's little things irritating me etc its always easier for me to have a sheet full of notes so when I go in I know exactly what I want to say/do and that way I get everything out and stay professional.

Last week when I was on annual leave my boss emailed me saying 'remind me never to let you go on annual leave again'. So after he sent out the email requesting a team meeting I replied saying 'you're also not allowed to go on annual leave again!'. He's just replied with a smiley face and a kiss lol xx

Flossie, write everything down, take it to the meeting. If you wait till then, spring it on people, they cannot prepare answers, puts them on the spot.
Never went in the garden, keeps coming over cloudy, plus I had not done the dinner for tonight, so chicken chasseur in the slow cooker, spuds and veggies prepared. Sent hubby a text to see if step son was coming, he said don't think so, why? So I said it's because I am preparing dinner and need to know how many for. He told me to phone him so I pointed out nope, at the end of the day if he is coming over he should be asking us or telling us, not for us to chase him and ask him, plus he sometimes tells hubby and hubby does not bother telling me.

He's not coming, hubby phoned him. I have no probs with him being here, but when I'm not told and don't have the right food it makes it awkward. My daughter told me yesterday that her friend told her that he was coming over and staying all of cowes week,(starts next weekend),he's not mentioned anything to hubby or myself regarding this. So now I have to prepare for a weeks worth of food whilst I am also working nights.

I've never been keen on agencies for some reason, probably because I feel half the time they try and put you forward for jobs you're obviously not very well suited to just because they want to fill the role. But this woman is really lovely and has been so helpful.

I got this job through an agency but before then I thought the same, but if they offer you a job and you say you're not interested they do listen and they always ask if you want to be put forward before ever sending off your CV xx

I feel your pain Flossie! I've been waiting for my company laptop since I startrd over a year ago and still waiting for it to put the rental systems on it! If I had my laptop I could have worked from home rather than having to be on the sick for the last week for my back! I can't even see my works emails so can't keep up to date with what's happening with my accident and things; I don't like feeling out of touch!
