The Jamie Lawson song makes me well up everytime I hear it - its beautiful with really poignant lyrics. He was on the radio the other day with Ed Sheeran - think he's signed to Ed Sheeran's label. Never heard of Nathan Sykes!!!

Had a love.y day in Brighton today, hotel is in marina so walked from marina into Brighton, about 2 miles each way- been clear blue sky and sunny too :-) just got back to hotel and has started to cloud over

I'm doing spag bol tonight with my homemade sauce recipe with garlic bread!

I've not been too hungry today - complete opposite of yesterday! Had a spinach omelette for breakfast and only had an apple bag, melon stick and a banana for lunch. Doing roast in the bag paprika chicken tonight (I made sure I picked up a roast in the bag one this time and not a fry in seasoned paper one!), with either jacket spuds or roasties in the @ctifry and lots of veggies.

Hi everyone. Was at a training course today got away earlier than expected so was nice. Have it tomorrow again. Going now to pick LO up from nursery. It's a horrible day here today! I have left over pasta bake from yesterday but we ate all the chicken so just have the pasta lol going to heat it up and put on some chicken goujons

Danielle, I checked my training tracker the other day and it was showing I was 100% but I know I am not, mentioned it to the midwife who deal with all the education and she said she'd look into it. I know I am not 100% as I have my emergency drills mandatory training to do still as it got cancelled before, but th next one for this year I am working a night the night before it. Turns out that it's like that from when I was on the bank, so she said leave it a few days and then check, also need level 3 safeguarding which I had to cancel as was given night shifts when I was meant to do it.

Gf can yiu not do online training, we have loads that we can do online, then every couple have to do face to face such as manual handling-

Water is best whilst he is still being sick. Stay away from giving him milk though, that will make him worse. A couple of years ago, ,y youngest had a bug, she'd seem OK, have something to eat and bam, back again, she was off school all week with it. You could try homemade dioralyte, sugar, salt and water, not sure on quantities though, my doc gave it to me years ago.

Morning ladies.... I had trouble getting on here today. Really slow and awkward.

Well I tried to fix the washer last night but I couldn't get the filter thing off and broke a nail in the process!! Grrrrrr

Had a right good cry and feel a bit better today. Weighed this morning and I've lost another 2lb so far this week so I'm pleased about that.

My friend is coming over tonight with the USB with her wedding photos on from 19th September.... I can't wait to see them

Last month I thought I had been paid too little, so when I questioned it they said it was because my hours had gone down. WHen I was on the bank, at the end of the month I got everything I worked the month before, so thought that was how it owrked this time but I get paid for my contract hours in the month I goet paid, plus the extra from the month before. Now, even though our contract was downed to 18.75 hours, we were still doing 30 hours. Then head of midwifery got involved and she said I should be getting paid the 30 hours, so one afternoon, the MW who deals with wages was trying to sort it out for me but HOM had shut the system down, so she said don't worry, you will get it so I checked a few times in the month and nothing in my bank so thought they are probs leaving it until this month to pay it back, I still don't have it and my wages are even lower. Hubby being hubby said well go up there and demand they put it in your account, I cannot do this until I have my wage slip to see what is what, but it also means that any annual leave I have is based on 18.75 so if they pay us 30 hours then I have to do a shift in the week of my annual leave to make it up to 30 hours.

I am in tonight so will check my wage slip to find out what is what for starters. I think they are still paying a basic of 18,75 hours per week instead of the 30 which HOM said should be. If it is still wrong, I shall give them the chance to put it right, I shall email HOM and cc the MW who deals with wages into it to find out. It is all confusing, if they are goin to give us 30 hours a week to do then change the contract instead of leaving it at 18.75.
