My birthday next week too Lindsey, so same here! My bad eating is starting this weekend. Going to z@ z@ b@z@@r with my mum Saturday night for a birthday meal where I will no doubt eat my own body weight in food, and also going out for a birthday meal with my dad on Sunday night! Then away from the Weds to the Saturday, where I can't see much healthy eating happening.

I have eggs!
I am experimenting with dinner, followed advice from you lovelies and put baking spuds in the slow cooker this morning. About 20 minutes ago also wrapped salmon fillets in foil and popped them in as according to online they take 2 to 4 hours in the slow cooker. So all I need to do is boil up some tenderstem broccoli later and dinner should be done.

Have meetings which will be difficult to rearrange as diary is packed until my next holiday in r weeks time, then it's December!

I'd have no choice but as it stands I'm not admitted to hospital as an inpatient. I'm looking to take care of myself for the next 4 weeks and not overdo it then I have 1.5 weeks off. Then not back until December.

Chicken pasta bake ready to put in oven when OH gets home can't wait. Turned out to be a horrible day here. I put up a few Halloween decorations today when LO was asleep he was delighted when he seen them lol. Is anyone doing much for Halloween? Is it celebrated much where use are? My hometown was voted best city in the world for Halloween this year. We will be going there to see the fireworks. There is a Halloween Hooley on where we live on Friday evening so will be going to that too

Never do anything for Halloween, I suppose we would if we had kiddies though. Always hated it - just an excuse for kids to get sweeties for free if you ask me lol. We always ignore the trick or treaters, although we never got any last year at all so fingers crossed this year is the same. I am off to the theatre with my mum this Halloween though so OH will be on his own left to deal with them, mwahaha.

I hate Halloween, but don't want to be seen as the grumpy couple at number 2, so same as last year I have got in some halloweeny sweets for the kiddies in the street. I hate dressing up so I think that's what bugs me most!

Glad the doctor is happy IDL. I know when I had my dog bite and they talked about surgery, the consultant delayed it because I'd been on flucoxicillin which he said was the wrong thing and a waste of time. He changed it to co-amoxiclave. In the end they still operated but that was more down to the severity of the original injury and concerns about skin healing than it was about infection. If it goes down to slowly it might be worth asking if you can have a stronger anti-biotic.

Mrs Wade 2 B I do hope your son feels better soon. With any luck sleep will help. When we were kids and had sickness bugs we used to eat dry toast, digestive biscuits and rusks mashed up with hot water (not milk as that can upset a stomach further). I used to love rusks after I'd been ill.
