I think I will have to wear an alternative ring when I take my ring in for cleaning as well. Always feels so weird when it's not on. I took it off to clean it myself the other week, had a blind moment of panic when I looked down and saw my ring was missing, then remembered!

I never take mine off! It actually hasn't discoloured much at all either considering I have been constantly wearing it for 3 and a half years.

Back home, all strange getting my parking permit. Normally you go in, fill the form and they take payment. Now y fill the form and the department call you to take payment, yet I purchased a couple of books for visitor permits and they took payment for that. Anyhoo, they Called up about an hour later, took payment, they said it had gone through, left it at that. Then they called when I was driving and spoke to my daughte and they told her it had not gone through. Called them back and they said it had. Also topped my daughter's phone his morning and she had not had the text to say it's been topped up. Checked and the amount has been added.

Phoned the drs again as its been nearly 2 hours since I phoned. Receptionist said the dr is getting through the calls on preference to how urgent they are

I do hope your LO improves soon Mrs. Wade 2 B. He's been poorly for a while now bless him, and presumably right over half-term as well? Viruses can be really difficult to get rid of.

Yeah he started last Saturday being sick and he's been sick everyday bringing everything up he's eaten/drank. He's now got the runs too. He can't get to the potty fast enough bless him. Somethings not right

Leaving at 4, OH has had a call to say his car will be ready very soon so going to pick him up and take him to go and collect it. Costing £40 for the part plus 'a little extra' for the labour.. bit vague but hopefully won't be too much, at least the part was quite cheap anyway. Could be worse!

Emma I remember doing the countdown everytime the number of months changed, it was such fun. I also noted every ten days (eg. 190, 180, 170), as that meant the milestones came quite frequently.

Today has been so dull and vile- proper winter :(

Gutted.... Realised I've left my iPad at work!! Good thing being my friend milked back in and got it so is taking it home with her and I'll pop round tomorrow afternoon to collect it. I can't have a full weekend without my pad. It will drive me crackers lol

Had a lovely day. My mum got her outfit for the wedding. We took LO to the Halloween Hooley tonight and he had a ball. He was amazed by the fireworks.
