That's a lot better :) at least I know where I stand now and it has come from my boss not a colleague (although he is slightly higher than me I don't report to him)

Afternoon all went to my mums this morning once it had stopped raining to sort the dog then went to the r@nge. Was looking for card to try and make a start at making my table plan, numbers etc but they don't sell peach coloured card so had to order it off the net.

Came and and OH text to say he was coming home for dinner. I had some w@rburtons thins so toasted them and put tom purée, ham, cheese, mushrooms and sweetcorn on them under the grill. Yummy

Sorting through clothes this afternoon as the bedroom looks like a bomb has gone off in there. Can't wait for the wedding to be here so then I've got 2 wardrobes back lol x

Just come back from the vets, guy was very nice! Think we will just take him there all the time now.

He said the original vets probably weren't wrong in saying it is an allergy problem, but not once did he say they'd need to keep him in, take blood tests, allergy tests and inject various different medications into him for about £700.... He said keep washing it with the shampoo and the salt water and start to wean him off the steroids now and it should get better on it's own. If not go back and he will give him some antibiotics.

Said he doubts there is anything stuck in there as the wound does not go deep enough. Looks like he's just licked it so much that he's created a sore on the pad of his paw. This is also something the original vets failed to see though... as they said they could not see or feel anything!

He said allergies are common in the breed and normally come on between the ages of 2 and 4. Suggested we try changing his diet as it could be a dietary allergy, said to try something non-grain based and see if we see any improvement with him licking his paws. Could be a pollen allergy due to the time of the year but again if that's the case we will soon see as the pollen count dies down.

So fingers crossed it just gets better on its own xx

The guy who owns the clinic is some sort of famous vet apparently... he also created one of the pet food brands called P3ts K1tch3n. So when he suggested changing his food I was wondering if he was going to suggest changing to that brand, but he didn't even mention it. Was nice that he offered genuine advice and explained things in detail to me so that I could understand!

Colleague just made me laugh, he said if he sends something over to me by the end of the week can I upload it and submit it to one of our clients as he's not sure how it all works. I said yes of course but I am working from home this week so the connection is a little slow, but I will try and do it. He came back saying "I will send it over after h0m3s und3r th3 h@mm3r and l00s3 wom3n. I find the connection is better then." Haha cheeky so and so! Did make me chuckle though.

Not sure what time hubby went but sure I was not up much past then, popped a load in the machine, popped some more rubbish out for bin day, now sat with a cuppa. Currently we have no rain, very damp though.

He's a goldendoodle GF, a golden retriever poodle cross :)

Ahhh he's lovely, my friend has a labradoodle and looks just like him, he's called Charlie and such a lovely dog.

Awwww I miss my dog so much, would not be fair to have another one though as not got the time to spend with it.

I've checked the forecast today and meant to be dry all day.

Might be able to get two loads of laundry done and get up together with it, depends on whether the first lot dries in time.

Getting a little fed up as I don't think hubby is telling step son what he is meant to do in regards to staying over. I have no problems with it at all, however, he needs to let us know he is coming, instead we are finding out from my kids after he is telling them, thing is, i am pretty skint this week with payday being tomorrow, so have organised meals for the week, yesterday I got prepared salmon, new spuds and veg, tonight they have prawn thai red curry. Find out late last night from my son that step son is coming over, I told hubby he needs to let him know in advance when he is staying as if he had I could have changed the meals around purely because he does not like prawns, but will eat salmon. When step son done it a couple of weeks ago when he told mine he was staying all of a week, hubby was meant to tell him to give us warning so we can prepare meals for him as well.
