Morning all.

Another wet one here today. Got a headache again but refraining from taking any tablets, will see if the cuppa works first.

Went to bed just after ten to read as I was bored, hubby was finishing watching a programme before he came up, went into a deep sleep, woke with the biggest bladder ever, never checked the time, then got woken by my son saying there was someone banging at the front door. Hubby got up to go and answer it, checked the time and it was only 135am, thoughts went through my mind until he opened the door and I could hear a woman so drunk she could not talk. She was trying to tell someone on the phone where she was to be picked up and they could not understand her. So she chose our door to knock!! Hubby spoke to the person and told them where she was, he then said to her, they are coming up the road now, next thing we hear her walking off down the road into town shouting on the phone.

Emma, I was the same when I was going for the job in Southampton and got an interview, I knew I could do that interview as already been through one before, but it suddenly dawned on me that I did not want to leave the island anymore, even though when I first qualified I wanted to get away from it.

Its horrible here. Just been a accident at the top of the close where I work a motorbike and car have collided seems like the bike rider isn't too bad

Oh no Flossie, so easily done at such a young age for a kitten. Hope the vets goes ok.

I would be feeling the same! But you know you're putting number 1 first and you're doing everything for all the right reasons :) they will be happy for you that you are progressing xx

It wasn't until after that I realised, gosh, so many people hate change. As I said, hubby is one of them, he would not have even gone for another job he is that worried about change. Even his credit card, at present he is paying off interest mainly, I've told him to change it to a 0% interest one, but nope, he is afraid of changing from B@rcl@ys.

I worry about change to some extent but I think it's more to do with the fact I worry about what other people will think. Which shouldn't worry me at all and should be totally irrelevant!

Feel sorry for the new girl today, she is reaaaally being chucked in at the deep end. My boss was supposed to be meeting the Director today to go through a presentation they are preparing for the Board. He has been invited to another meeting with a big potential client so he has gone to that instead, and sent to new girl to meet the Director in his place. He tried contacting her last night to tell her but couldn't reach her so she's only found out this morning. No pressure....

If you find a way to stop please can you let me know Emma! I worry so much it does my head in. Tell myself to stop every day but nothing stops it. All this stuff with Oscar is worrying me so much.. I know it's going to be ok in the end, and worst comes to worst we're just going to have to shell out a bit of money which isn't the be all and all, just can't stop myself worrying!

I like to be in total control of things though and it's the not knowing that kills me. I want to know exactly what's going to happen, when, how, why... can't deal with waiting as it makes me think up all kinds of scenarios in my head. I don't just worry about the problem, I worry about everything that could happen after that too!

Flossie, it is natural to feel like that about Oscar at the moment, he's like your child.

Flossie I hope that Oscar gets on at the vets and such sad news about the kitten x they must be feeling really rough.

Told them! They were so sad but made up for me, they're not sure if 11th September would be too soon for me to leave but they will see what they can do. It was so much better than I expected :)

O god, I just burst into tears at my desk... been dumped someone elses work on me now which is a 'priority' despite finding cover for them almost 2 weeks ago.

I am being chased for my own work so don't have the time to do the training and the actual job part of their work.

I really feel like throwing in the towel today.

Was so hungry, was hoping to hold out and have a slightly earlier lunch but could not wait that long. Starting at 1pm means I have to leave some time before to get a parking space, so either early lunch or none at all. Might go for the none at all or take a noodle cup thing with me to have later.

Its funny because the person who passed it onto me was chasing me yesterday for my work and is now saying that the work they needed yesterday isn't important.
