Hope everyone is well. Not been on for ages. Just been so busy! Feel like I've been pulled in so many directions at rhe moment.

Just spent ages trying to get Joseph down for a nap, even though he was tired. He hates napping and fights so hard. I laugh when I read about how much daytime sleep he should be having. At least he sleeps well through the night. Last night wasn't great but he is full of cold.

It was so icy this morning I couldn't actually get any further than the path in front of the house, going to get some grit/salt or something as I am terrified of falling over onto bump.

Been a while since I last came on so I thought id pop in and say hi…

Hubby gone back up to Barrow this morning till Friday. He has been in and out of work since before Christmas so luckily, he’s back to good work, good money and good colleagues!

So, I started a new job back in November which I then decided I disliked due to the commute taking ages and the work being boring. Well I still dislike it lol…. The people are great and I’m treated well but I’m bored. I’m just not a receptionist. I need more!

Anyway, I had 2 interviews on Thursday last week and I got offered both positions so I went with my gut feeling and I have accepted the job in the smaller company with the scruffy offices. The atmosphere was much better and I just clicked straight away with the MD. Since Christmas, I have started studying my level 2 in accounts too from home and the new company have said that I can sit with the accounts manager on quieter days to get me through my course…. Bonus!!!

So, I’m on my 4 weeks notice period now and I cant wait to get out of here.

Hey Emm- nice to hear from you- sometimes you just know if a company isn't right for you- I once took i job I hated after I was made redundant- it was the longest miserable 5 months of my life!

Was up early today, hubby left early to go to Windsor, I've got a training day on the mainland. Still thick fog but boats are still running at the moment,

Another study day today, hate sitting in a classroom all day. Don't know how I managed it at uni.

Dinner in slow cooker, hoping to let out being stuck indoors doing nothing at the gym later bu got a headache and feel my cold emerging again.

Evening all- bought a bargain rib roast beef from blue supermarket- £6.50 for £30 of beef-just waiting for yorkie puds to finish and then ready! Bit late for t but will be worth it!

Was a very intense course I was on today. Very interesting though. Been to the gym, I was very tired and could happily have stayed st home though.

JennK - We get it on prescription now but been told by GP that things are changing and that we may have to start paying for it.


Elinor Claire - Apparently it is changing for all parents with babies on special formula, to make it more fair on other parents and cut down costs for the NHS. What they fail to see is, the cost of getting to the sheer amount of appointments our babies/children have due to these allergies and the extra cost for all the 'fr33 fr0m f00ds' add up to well over £10 a week for a tin of normal formula.

He has just turned one. Until he completes the milk or soya ladder without any reactions or he turns 5, he has to stay on the formula. He is allergic/intolerant to so much stuff the only milk he can have is not suitable for children under the age of 5. Keeping our fingers crossed that he had out grown one of them if/before the changes come in.

Morning all

I had an awful AF this month as well. Was really heavy and so much pain, but I'm fortunate that I only get that for about a day and a half.

Gym this morning and then work on a late shift so need to get things done this morning at home when back from the gym. Hubby is back tomorrow evening.

Afternoon, about to head off to work, been to the gym, home, put the laundry in the drier, hoovered and quick tidy round, then showered and ready for work. Need to quickly take stuff out of drier and then head off. Hubby is coming back today instead of tomorrow as its too cold in Windsor to lay bricks, same here, it's freezing

I don't get cold very easily but I just can't warm up today.

It is really cold today. Going to the gym later and not looking forward to going outside.

Brrrrrr frozen today- when I got home frint room was 11c!
