I've almost finished the display for National Libraries Day which is tomorrow. It's been great fun getting my colleagues to create profiles of themselves for the display. There's been lots of little things I didn't know. One of my colleagues has been putting snippets out on social media as well. I've just got the quiz to print out now. I'm intrigued to see how people get on with the baby photos. Mine is black and white so people could easily think it's one of my older colleagues.

What an exciting day met the florist and it was such a nice experience I get my quote next week, one of the bm's come with me was a last min thing as she had the day off, so we were talking about the night before the wedding and where we are going to stay and the florist suggested a lovely house for us to have a look at so we thought ok we're both off so let's go and look now, it was beauotfil and we have booked a nights stay for us 4 and we have the big family sized room, there is also a turret room which I asked if we can have pics in and they have said of course!!! They have even arranged a gin tasting for us too and we will be going for a meal I am so excited I can't wait xx

Still not logged off. Not done too much work today so can't complain really, but a client asked me to clarify something for them by today and I've not heard back from the person who was to do the clarifying!!!! He was on leave today but I spoke to him this morning and he said he would look at it this afternoon. Emailed him to chase him around 4pm - nothing. Phoned his mobile about 10 mins ago - switched off. Had to phone my boss who is going to try and get hold of the Director. Someone's going to be in trouble!! Meanwhile muggins here is sat here just waiting.

I am so excited about that too flossie will be a girly sleepover for us and the manager there said don't worry the gin tasting is only a little as wouldn't want you being hungover I said that is perfect as I'm not a big drinker neither are the girls and we defo don't even want a touch of a hangover! She said they will bring up ice buckets in the morning for our champers too!
That's annoying about your work flossie hopefully you can switch off soon and get to enjoying your weekend, how you feeling now? Xx

I'm feeling better than I have been the past couple of days, it's my throat/cough that's affecting me the most now. Going dancing tonight but doubt I'll be able to exert myself too much otherwise I'll have a coughing fit! Will show my face though and just mark everything through instead of doing it properly. Feel pretty energy-less as well xx

Yeah I no we will only have that couple drinks and want have a late one either we plan to watch my fave film too sex and the city on the night before and have munchies and laughs I can't wait!
My cold has consisted of my cough and throat still bothering me the most it's gone on for days now but slowly getting better every day I'm glad you feel a bit better flossie xx

Sounds fab! I've not really thought much about what we will get up to.. Mum mentioned something about stopping off somewhere on the way to the venue for some dinner together which will be nice, then onto the venue for prosecco/champers and a girly night in. We've got 3 rooms to sleep in though rather than 1 big one, I'm going to share a room with my mum and the girls have got 2 between them. I thought the girls would prob get too much for me if I spent the whole night with them - my mum will be more of a calming relaxing influence!
I find it's always the sore throat and the cough that lingers around the longest with me xx

I'm leaving my laptop on this evening but don't actually need to be sat at it, just in case the person in question suddenly remembers to get back to me. Will check emails when I get in. Director is not happy, looks like someone is going to get an ear bashing when they return to work on Monday! I've just forwarded my email trails onto him so he can see I've been chasing it etc. knew there was a reason I kept all my emails like a crazy lady - evidence!!! :-)

Flossie what a pain in the bum, make sure your boss knows the work you have done.
OH not back from work yet. Told me he was going for a few for another teacher's leaving do and didn't know how long for. Most other times its literally been 2 or 3 and hes been back for 8. I called him when I got out at 630 to see if he wanted me to gt him but he was like oh no we'll be a bit yet. Text him at half 8 as I don't mind if he's out but if I get a call I don't want to have had a drink or be half way through my nails and not had a response.
Talking of nails I'm using an @V0N gel finish polish from a set I got at xmas, not impressed as its gone on so thin and streaky. Not even properly touch dry in 15 mins can still feel its tacky. Anyone else used these and had similar experience?

My mum has gone into hospital for the 5th time since June, I am really worried about her and doubly sad because she was going to come and stay with me for two weeks on the 18th Feb to spend time with me going shopping, to my first wedding fair and watching chick flicks :( I think she is going to need an operation and I feel awful for being the other side of the country and not able to get there until March. My fiance is being a great support at least.
Any words of wisdom for coping with ill parents ladies? I would really appreciate it.

Sorry to hear about your mum Sophie. I'm sure she will understand if you cannot spend a long amount of time with her right away. Are you able to make it up for a weekend instead before you go? Or could you Skpe or similar to keep in touch a bit easier?

She has her mobile with her so I hope to call her everyday, we have spoke today and she was admitted yesterday. We have also been texting so I can at least keep up with what is happening. I wish I could get up but the issue is I dont have a car and money is tight right now :( She does hope to get out and both her and my father to come down and see me, I hope for that too.

The connection is not so bad, I go through Cardiff and my destination is on a direct train line so there is only one change. The journey is a bit laborious and takes 4 hours though, the trains are always busy and it is hard to move around with suitcases. I think if it got serious enough my parents would pay for the train for me, like they did when my grandfather passed away last year, so for the moment I think I can tell myself to not worry as much.

Child free and up at 6am.... OH had pulled all the quilt off of me and was wrapped up in it so I decided just to get up lol
I naturally woke up too so I thought ah well, I'll give my self chance to wake up properly. I'm going to do my DVD this morning as well as tonight cos I feel naughty for last nights pizza! I'm really disappointed with myself. I needed bad food but that gives me the drive to get back on it today!
Hoping my car will be ready too..... Apparently the oil dipstick was so stuck down that he thinks that's what caused the mess.... Whoops! Well I hadn't had my car serviced last year cos I just couldn't afford it so that's probably why! He is changing the oil filter, pressure switch and putting more oil in so it shouldn't be more than £60 - £100
We counted the money out of the savings bottle last night for the last instalment for the solicitor... Grrrrr, but at least it's done! Just got to put it in the bank this morning before seeing OHs LO.

Unfortunately due to the rubbish weather, we will probably go to the indoor play centre again!! He does enjoy it there and it gives us somewhere dry and warm..... Only today and next week to go then hopefully we get more time. We are back in court on the 18th so even if it's extended to 10 til 3, that gives us 5 hours ish to bring him home to see other family members and play with my LO at home and do other things!

We've started the work of having conduits sunk into the walls. We got home about 9:00 last night as we ate out after work, and found the place covered in dust. We would have hoped the workmen would have put dust sheets down. We were cleaning until about 11:30, and I'll probably do more today. Hopefully there won't be so much dust created on Monday.

Morning. Was up early as gad to take mom to work. Had a shower now getting ready to go to knitting. Picking mom up earlier and we are going into town to the market. Looking forward to today. Had a delivery and had barely opened the box and flossie pinched it. Never mind the bed its on. She much prefers a box with God knows what in it :)

Morning everyone. Up about half an hour ago just sat in bed reading on here. Will do DVD shortly and then shower and eat. Going out later for a 30th we are doing cocktail making and a meal.
