I had a terrible nights' sleep last night, feeling knackered this morning. Today is the first day of my boss' holiday, he's not back until August 19th, whilst he's away it's me in charge... I've also got to select people to interview for an administration role we're recruiting for, planning to contact them today and offer them an interview for next week and then when my boss gets back I can suggest which ones he should offer a 2nd interview to. No pressure!!!!
Busy day again yesterday, went to the gym after work, fortunately I had put a chilli in the slow cooker so did not have to cook when I got in.
Tis my baby's birthday today, she is 12.

How many nights do you have Danielle? I've got the one on Friday night. Then in annual leave for a week then back on nights again.
We have Freddie today, fortunately I did not have to go get him and take his mum to the next town to catch the bus, so even though I wa up early I did not to get dressed so chilled out. Kids all got up and my daughter opened her gifts, I put my work stuff in the wash and then stripped our bed and cleaned our ensuite, put my work stuff on th line and another load in the machine.
It's also my step dad's birthday so will be off to see him soon.

If its a bug they have one trick I swear by a glass half and half of warm water and lemonade sipped gently its always helps to keep me hydrated and it isn't so harsh that you throw it back up again, might be worth a try :)

GF when on nights we do 5 nights one week, 2 nights the next and so on for 4 weeks. This is my 2 night week and I'm only in tonight as got annual leave tomorrow night as we are going away for the weekend leaving Friday lunchtime

Hello everyone!
Landed back yesterday morning, got home at 0945, slept until about 1630 then did some shopping ate tea and off to dance class. So nice be on here on a laptop rather than a phone. Such a PIA and on a small screen too, so just bobbed on now and agan whilst away.
Was back in work today and they had decorated my desk with a Mr+Mrs sign, honeymooners 'do not disturb' wooden sign confetti, hanging signs, and best of all a mini pair of boxing gloves on a string from the boss with bride and groom on. Was a nice surprise. :) Got thrown straight back into it though with some quotes for a potential client. No easy first day back hehehe!

There was a horrible accident near our house last night, apparently there were 6 ambulances, 3 fire engines and the air ambulance in attendance, could hear a helicopter and all the sirens going off and was wondering what one earth was going on. Have just read online that the accident was caused by a fire engine on an emergency call which collided with 2 cars on a mini roundabout. Must have been some impact considering the speed the fire engine would have been travelling at.

We've always said we would try for another baby after the wedding so since June I've been phoning the Drs to get an appointment to have the implant removes since June. They said phone in a few weeks as August appointments aren't available. Phoned today and they've said that there are only 2 Drs that do this. One is on maternity leave and one is on annual leave and no appointments are available until October/November.
Is there anywhere else I can go to get it out?

Mrs M wade - my doctors had the same problem, find out where your local family planning/sexual health clinic is and make an appointment there. It was a 9week wait at my doctor but took all of 3 days at the family planning clinic

So tired but just can't sleep. Tossed and turned all night think of everything that is left to do. I can't believe how quick these past 2.5 years have gone. I'm actually getting married tomorrow
I want to thank all of you on here not only for making me feel welcome but for giving me advice and listening to me moan about everything. A lot has happened since we booked the wedding, some good and some bad but everything is sorted now and everyone is excited for tomorrow which I thought would never happen.
There was some days I was ready to give up and cancel the whole thing but the stress is so worth it to know that tomorrow im going to marry the man I love

Happy Friday! So glad for the weekend, this week has been tough.
It's my friends birthday party tomorrow, it has a twisted Alice in Wonderland theme so my friend and I are going as tweedle dum and tweedle dee, but we have tutus etc to make it a bit different. On Sunday I am seeing my uni friend who is staying nearby for a wedding, so taking advantage of this to see her and her kiddies. Planning to take them to a park near us called dinosaur island which they should enjoy.
All of this assumes I won't be throwing up all weekend though, fingers crossed!

Not sure yet Flossie re the weekend. Hopefully something though! OH started a new job (week 3 this week) and has been working away a lot in Portugal so will be nice to go out and do something.
