Yeah but if we gave up work they probably wouldn't give us any benefits!

To actually have £39k net hit your bank account every year you'd be so comfortable!
I have way less than that! No wonder I can't afford numerous pets, lots of expensive technology, branded everything food wise and bottled water, plus £5k holidays and smoke.

When I was made redundant after only being in a job for a year after coming back from a year traveling, despite having had a part time job since the age of 14, because I had spent a year in Australia, working I may add, but because I didn't pay NI in this country I wasn't eligible.......

Why not Michelle? I'm so entitled to it, I'll just have a few kids.

It's a complete and farce our benefits system- it's no wonder as a country we are in trillions of debt!

I splash out about £250 on my sister's birthday and I thought that was really super generous.

Those people really annoy me. It's people like her that cause the Conservatives to get away with cutting benefits from those who need it. They use people who play the system to justify hitting everyone with bedroom tax, sanctions, child tax credit cuts and refusal of disability support allowance. Most people who have benefits use them responsibly and fairly, but these benefit cheats give people on benefits a bad name and convince others that the Conservatives are being fair.
OK I'll get off my soap box now.

Good evening in choir practice tonight. We had three new people, all of whom seemed to keep up ok, even the one that didn't read music. Hope they all stick around, we need more people.

Sounds good EC. Wish I had time to join my church choir or little orchestra. My life is just over taken by work so I only volunteer for church jumble sales amd Christmas fayre so 3 times a year. I'd like to do more but I just can't fit it all in.

EC that's why I think vouchers for just the bare no frills basics one needs to simply survive should be issued.
Noone would want to play the system then and the benefits system will do what it is there for, to keep people fed and with a roof over their head. No flat screen telly's, 1ph0n35 and 1p@d5, cigarettes, holidays, getting nails done, 2 cars, petrol powered quad bikes and bouncy castles etc.......................

Was shattered last night after I got in, I was out on labour ward but fortunately I had someone who was not going to do anything on my shift, but after the lack of sleep I struggled. Got home, watched walking dead, then ee, then bed and slept so well, did not want to get up when the alarm went off.
