Think I need to invest in a slow cooker , especially now it's winter, the girls in the office all go on about the random things they cook in them- they sound a useful investment!

I've just eaten a pizza... To myself!! Feel fat and horrible now but Aunt Flo is due on Sunday so I'm craving fat foods!!

I'll get back on the salads next week though it's a bit cold for salads.

Spoke to OH earlier bout this job starting after Xmas and he has agreed that he will come home every other weekend so I don't gave to drag the kids around... So, hopefully, if it pulls off and they source 'travelling lads' he could be on very good money for a 5 year project....

I'm not gonna get too excited yet, cos he has been offered a good deal before and on the day he was going, it all fell through.

It could help get us financially secure if it works out anyway xx

I'm going to have to try out the baked potato in slow cooker thing.

Going to do steak for hubby and sausages for me for dinner. With homemade potato wedges.

yeah has to work out for you, not sure I could cope with only seeing oh every other weekend for that amount of time but if you can make it work then fab :-)

This eye stye is making me not exercise because doing anything strenuous is uncomfortable.

If they are home made wedges done in over with spray oil then not too bad for you

It's more sausages that full of fat, a lean steak done on a grillet pan is probably healthier lol

I find the best tastiest spuds for jackets are the variety called m@rf0n@.

I didn't realise there was more than one variety you can make jackets out of .. We normally just get the big standard baking potato .. Will have to watch out for those ones idl!

I didn't idl but I don't like mine crispy if you wanted yours crispy then yeah a bit of oil will help :)

We go through phases of eating plenty then not eating them for a couple of weeks.

Would love a red hot bath right now .. With plenty of d33p h3at bath foam in to ease my back .. Did ask oh for a hot water bottle for it at 5.30 ... Still waiting now grr.

I couldn't be without my bath..... I shower in a morning and bath at night, everyday..... I don't soak in it though cos I get bored but I do love a bath.

I rarely have a bath because I'm too impatient to wait for it to run lol but it does really help my back

He hasn't brought me the hot water bottle he went off to get me at 5.30 get so I'm not holding my breath lol. Plus he said he wanted a shower so would have to wait til he'd faffed on having a shower

I don't bother either emmilou unless I've been on holiday and I have a vested interest to keep my tan lol
