Morning all,
Had a brilliant morning, bathroom cleaned, back bedroom cleaned, dishwasher on and started on the front room tidying that up. Did kitchen island last night so just need to finish the washing up.
I love choir and cubs, but I am SO glad we don't have either this week. Is such a nice feeling!!

Finished nights this morning, had a couple of hours sleep before getting up, stripping the bed so got clean bedding for tonight, popped to town, now feeling the need for another sleep as soooo tired.

Goodness I feel like I've barely been on lately, it's been so busy. Work and social life has just taken over everything. I'm exhausted. Glad though that I'm all organised for Christmas.

Evening all- off to Belfast tomorrow for a couple of days for my birthday which is weds- back late Thursday night then got to unpack and do a bit of washing and re pack for going yo dads Friday- ( if I make it as baggage handler strikes :(
Today we had a mad dash to shops as stupid fly b3 have changed hand baggage size and made it much smaller than current hand luggage luckily went to discount shop and got 2 bags!
Spent rest of day finalising save the dates to print as printers have found a space and think they can get them printed and to arrive Friday morning so I can then take them to Scotland for my sister go hand write addresses in calligraphy
My 2 weeks off is never dull!

One more day to go, but we do get a really nice Christmas meal today so looking forward to that.
Had some bloods taken at the hospital yesterday and it has bruised really badly that's the first time that's ever happened :(

I've taken annual leave for Thursday and Friday, I booked it ages ago and so glad I did now.
Oh ouch Stacey it's a pain when that happens, I had a doctor take my blood before and that gave me the worst bruise ever!

Jenn, I dont get that much holiday to take any more off. Next year I may have to work between Christmas and new year because of using most of my holiday for the wedding..

Hi ladies
Trying to keep myself awake. In hospital with my little man. He slipped on the bathroom floor this morning and had bit straight through his tongue. Blood gushing out and a big gapping hole. Phoned 111 and they told me to take him straight to a and e. We got here for 8.20. He's had to be put under and stitched put in his tongue so it doesn't get infected etc.
OH has gone home and I'm with little man. He's got a heart rate monitor attached to Him and n oxygen mask. I'm absolutely shattered but not going to sleep. My poor baby

I'm finishing up tomorrow. Boss said to take a half day and then just have Friday off but not to worry about taking it out of my annual leave. I'm so in need of some sleep!!!!
I came in this morning to find a bottle of champagne on my desk too :-)

That's a shame about holiday Emily, it gets tricky when you have a wedding to juggle aswell! I didn't take a lot over the summer so had enough to finish a bit early and not work between Christmas and new year. Even though it's really quiet at work during that time I think it's a mental thing to have proper time off.

Hope your little one is ok Michelle.
I don't finish till Friday, although we do finish at lunch time as the 5 managers take over our counter and telephone duties for the last 3 1/2 hours.
Then its back home for 2 days before heading up to Birmingham for boxing day and the belated Christmas day. Followed on the 27th by my daughters 21st Birthday. Staying for a few days and then back home on 29th. Thankfully I'm not back in work till the 4th. I cant wait for the break Its the fist Christmas ive had off in the last 5 years, so really looking forward to it and some proper time with the OH.

Hey ladies.... I hope everyone is well?!
Its been a while since i last came on here. Life gets in the way!
Not much to report on really.... Not really enjoying my new job. The travel is awful still, not much to do and i dont like finishing at 5.30pm.
The people are brilliant and the CEO is great... We all got a Christmas card with £200 cash in it!!! The bad out ways the good though i'm afraid.
OH got laid off in the middle of November so was home for 3 weeks but got some local work to see us through. Hes had his last day today and goes back on the 4th Jan in Southampton!
I break up tomorrow and rumour is that we are allowed to go at lunchtime so fingers crossed that is true!
Michelle, sorry to hear about your LO.... I saw the pics on in3tagr4m and wondered what he was doing bless him

Work is so quiet today.
We normally get 160 orders a day, today we have had 4... Just want to go home now and start Christmas.

Hi Ladies! Hope everyone is well. I've barely been on this week, work has just been so busy then of course with Christmas all the socialising and prepping has taken up the rest of my time.
Feeling all organised now though for the weekend.
Managed to get all my housework done tonight - 2 loads of laundry, all bathrooms cleaned and even all the Christmas groceries have been delivered. Tomorrow I'll just be preparing all the food so that cooking on Sunday is easy, just timing and hoping my turkey is tasty and not dry.

Broke up for Christmas yesterday, hoping for a lie in today but LO has come down with this sickness bug that's going around!
Bless him.... he first shouted me at 5.20 and then again at 6.15. At least I can make an early start on the cleaning lol....
