If anyone is looking for a way of drinking more water. I've bought a hydr@t3m8 bottle. It came less than half an hour ago and I've drank 1 litre already. Definitely recommend x

I've never used them Flossie, they put me off after not being able to get a mirror for my car correct.

Freddie just ate loads, he defo has his appetite back. He ate a huge bowl of sweet potato, beef casserole and rice. The followed with a yoghurt. He kept looking at his rocky chair so think he was very tired as his nap he had earlier was about ten mins. Sat rocking him and he's gone off now, not surprised, I would have as well after eating all that.

I want something to eat but not sure what. I don't want anything big to spoil my afternoon tea.

I have one which you infuse with it and I love it, I take it to work with lemon, mint and lime in it and keep refilling. By the end of the shift though the flavour is not as strong.

Just G00gl3d that bottle Mrs Wade, looks good but not sure I'd spend that on a bottle cos I'm stingy hahah. I love drinking water though, drink loads throughout the day. Go through at least 3 bottles at work and then more at home.

I'm only tempted GF because their MOT price is cheap. But not sure if I trust chains in general. Probably better off sticking to the local garage I normally use. Could probably do with a full service this time as well though can't really afford it.. maybe a credit card jobby!

I think my service plan I have is for five years, so I think I might get it serviced, then stick it in for an mot and hopefully won't need anything doing. My car is thre years old this year so will need an mot.

I'm never sure whether it's best to have a service and MOT at the same time, or a service first, followed by an MOT at a later date. Last year I split them across 2 pay days so I didn't have to pay everything in one lump sum, might do the same this year.

I pay my service plan every month so it is not a big lump sum when it comes to it, as it is I get a discount there as well due to knowing the family, just means going to the mainland to get it done, but mix it up with another trip,

Just checked out the curry site - think I may make a purchase as we love curry, but we usually use jars, so if these are good and on the SW plan too worth a go.

Not used them before Flossie as cousin has his own garage so always take my car there, but they've always been okay when I've needed bulbs etc changing.

So relieved it's Friday - woke up this morning and thought it was Saturday!!!! So was a struggle to get up and out of bed this morning, especially with OH stil snoring away!!

We're off to look at some more rings tomorrow. OH has chosen his, but I've narrowed it down to 2, but will start a post about that specifically.

Bottle of wine tonight with OH and a Chinese takeaway.

Emmilou - I tend to do the DVD every other day rather than be really strict with myself with it. I try not to leave it longer than more than a day inbetween, but just gives me time to have some relax time as well and do other things too.

I used them a few years ago Flossie I wasn't impressed they were very pedantic.

I had 'bright White' sidelights bulbs in my car from h@lf0rds and they failed it saying they were blue even though they said road legal from their retail store. They then changed the bulbs without my permission and tried to charge and knocked my headlight out of alignment .. I took it to n@t1on@l after that

So it's my sisters 17th tomrrow and I'm giving her my car.

Me and mum agreed that we'd take it to their house whilst she's on her first driving lesson 9-11 and we all were happy with that
Mums now mentioned it at work and theyve all said that's cruel and she needs it first thing so now mums on about having it there for when she wakes ip so I won't even see her face when she sees it even though it's me giving her it! She'll think it's off mum and dad.

Not happy I'm a true believer in the person giving the present should decide when they get it and should be there especially with a £2k plus car!!!!

Plus it's not cruel in my eyes as it stretches out the excitement ... Kids these days grow up just expecting everything they want straight away- brat culture I can't see why she can't wait 2 hours on her birthday morning to get it!

Definitely not cruel, she can definitely wait a few hours for such a generous gift.

Its my sisters 30th birthday on Sunday, she'll get the first of her main present in the morning on the way to where we taking her as its a gift voucher for it. Ths rest of her presents will be given to her when we're back late afternoon. I'm even thinking she will get all but one of the rest of her presents when we're back then keep the t1ff@ny5 gift until after dinner as a surprise because she won't be expecting any more.

I much prefer the idea of dropping it off for her whilst she is on her driving lesson. Would be very fitting to finish her driving lesson and arrive home to a car! If she doesn't know she's getting it then she won't miss it in the morning when she wakes up - so that's not cruel at all!!! And like you say, it'll be nice for you to be there and see her reaction etc.

Becci I definitely think it's fine for her to get the car later. If your mum is worried about it maybe you can give her a card first thing saying that she will get her present later in the day, so she doesn't feel like she isn't getting anything.

Thanks ladies .. It was when mum was saying everyone at work thought it was cruel and I couldn't see how tbh. Yes at first she may be a little oh I might not be getting a car but she will be too busy with her driving lesson to worry and when she pulls up home and she's the car with the bow on she'll be over the moon. I hate for presents to just be expected it'll be much better for her having that surprise as she thinks I sold the car!

Mum said she was happy with during the lesson when we discussed it but then because people have said it's cruel thinks it should be there first thing. I've stuck my ground and she said well I'll see what dad thinks then becajse she's more sensitive than you. Grr they have the keys to the car too so even if I say no they'll still do it

She shouldn't really be expecting to get a car anyway. If they refuse to listen can you ask them to video the moment when she sees the car, so at least you get to see? Then you can go round after her driving lesson with a card and maybe something about your experiences with the car, so she knows that the gift is from you.

All seems to be ok now. I'm still getting occasional stained discharge, but it's more brownish than red, like you might get at the end of a period, so I think that's just old stuff left over from Tuesday when the bleed happened. I was getting that stained discharge on Wednesday and the midwives knew about it but weren't concerned. The baby is still moving as normal too, and all the monitoring went fine. They said I just need to keep my 28 week appointment with the midwife, which is on February 4th, but I might arrange to see her next week (she's in on Thursday afternoons) provided there are appointments available which there usually are. It's probably not necessary but just for my own peace of mind. I'm back in work today but taking it easy, I gave myself plenty of time to get in so that I could walk slowly. I'm working until 7:00 which meant having a later start which was helpful. Tomorrow I can mostly just chill out. Sunday I have two church services but although I'm on stewarding duty for the morning one (which means setting up, doing announcements etc.) there are two kids on junior steward duty so they can do all the running around. The evening will hopefully just involve playing flute for a couple of worship songs, provided someone can be found to do tea and coffee.

It's a shame that your mum even thinks it's necessary to say anything to her. Neither myself or either of my brothers would have expected cars, and mum and dad would not have dreamed of telling us if we were getting one. It sounds like your sister perhaps doesn't realise how generous a gift that is, and maybe feels an entitlement to one. I would definitely take the car around when you want to. Maybe sending her something small like a box of chocolates first thing would put her off the scent, or will it make her even more likely to think that the present is from your parents?
