The only good thing is we are an island so I suppose it is a little bit more difficult to get here, although some of them are british! I don't think we have ever had one here, not that I know of anyway, it's scary but makes me appreciate everything I have!

I think generally people in Britain who are sympathetic to ISIS are going to Syria. There are people here, but so far our security and police have managed to stop attacks before they can happen. Lets hope they continue to stay on top of things.

The worry about the most recent attacks is that people are blaming immigration and saying we shouldn't be taking refugees, when in fact most of the refugees that come here are fleeing from the same thing that we're trying to prevent. There's even a suggestion that the Syrian passport found with one attacker's body was fake. I'm gutted about the French bombing ISIS, that's what they expected to happen. All it does is make them more likely to attack again.

ISIS don't need a reason to attack, they will attack again anyway even if France had not reacted. I'm glad France did react if the reports are true. Further action needs to be taken now, they will not stop until they are defeated. As GF said, I can see this becoming a war.

I heard the Syrian passport was fake too, apparently the passports are easy to fake. What I don't really understand though is how someone can blow themselves up yet police still manage to find a passport intact next to them??

I am glad they responded too as they don't need a reason to attack again, they will do it anyway, but at least there may be a few less of them now!

Yeah I saw a photo of it in the paper, it just looked like a driving license so I can see how they would be easy to fake. It's strange how they can find things like that, you'd think everything would have blown up with him!

One deluded mother. I think something needs to be done in Syria to make it a safe haven for people to live, but I suspect there will be others waiting in the wings to take their place, but I don't think Europe is the answer to housing all of these refugees.

Has anyone seen the Xmas duvet covers in the lan of mat? I'm going to get the kids one each at the end of the month so they can have it in their beds for December, thinking about getting one for our bed as well, there is one with just a Christmassy pattern which could be used throughout the year, or one that says it's beginning to look a lot like Christmas

Thank goodness for that Sarah, you must be relieved. I agree though, an apology would be nice, or at least some acknowledgment that you had to attend a meeting while on sick leave, and a thanks for cooperating. Presumably there will be no comeback on whoever made the allegations in the first place.

The thing with the tit for tat response with the bombings is that for one thing there is always a danger with bombing campaigns of hitting civilians, and for another that's probably exactly what ISIS were hoping would happen. They are trying to create a war between Islam and the Western world, both by making the western world attack ISIS, and by playing on people's fears and ignorances to turn people against Islam in general. There was a story I saw on bookface about a lady who runs a beauty salon who is now refusing any muslim clients, and that's just one example of the strong anti-islam feeling. There's a big push on social media to try to point out how small ISIS is in relation to the whole of the world's muslim population. I think if you add ISIS, Al Quaeda and Boko Haram together it's still something like 0.1% of the muslim population. The vast majority of muslims condemn the attacks, and I've seen them quote the bit from the Qu'ran where it says that to kill one person is like killing the whole of humanity. However it is these innocent muslims that are paying the price, because people tar them with the same brush.

Blimey it's busy on here today. Didn't think I'd not refreshed for a while.

Don't understand why fathers have to do that gf. My dad was the same. Csa are a waste of time. My dad only had to pay £40 a month when working and £10 if not so he quit his job .. Whole load of help that sum was!

It's 11 tomorrow Michelle. Booked my train tickets. Not looking forward to that but eve less looking forward to the prospect of being on the tube as rush hour .. I already felt really ill on it last week and now I have the added terror threat to deal with.

I've emailed all whinge bag at works stations with a selection of 6 dates between her 4 locations for them to email me which date is suitable for them for me to visit. Cba arguing with Her. I mean for her to expect me to visit her stations for a full day every month when I have 21 locations and need at least 1 day a week doing paperwork off location is ridiculous but I simply cannot be bothered with her bs again

I know Muslims, I work with some. I don't judge and think they are all the same, nor do a lot of people now especially after the attack. One of the status updates going around is about Mr Mohammed from the local newsagent etc etc etc are not to blame for this. I think Tunisia showed this as well with th Muslims shielding the people in the resort
