It's tried raining here as well here but only drizzle.
Just had a call from the school. They are sending my youngest home with a horrendous headache. Normally with an hour and a half left I would say stay, but seeing as I've got a headache that won't shift maybe it's some kind of bug
It's such a shame about your manager Becci. It's always sad when people feel they have to leave for any reason other than not wanting to do what they do. A manager can really make or break a team. I was sad when my old boss left, but since her replacement came in I've realised just how much I didn't like under the old one. The new one gives us so much more freedom to take responsibility for things, and is so much more relaxed, which makes all of us more relaxed as well. Will they replace your manager or just allocate you to someone else?

Bad luck MrsW2B. I have the joys of that to come. We're getting the three piece suite from my parents in law as they are downsizing, so maybe when we have the baby I might think about getting protective washable covers.

My daughter is home now so we are watching th modern Miracle on 34th street. Hopefully this headache will go soon, I've almost done 4 of my 600mls bottle of water so far today and still it's hanging in there.

Back from lunch with mumma. Had a grilled chicken, red onion and sweet chilli panini with fries and a side salad, was yummy! Didn't think I was that hungry but I demolished it.

His hearing has improved but still needs the hearing aids.
They have been adjusted to the correct hearing levels and we have to go back in 3 months for a review

Come home and the for sale board is finally up! Still not had a call from the energy performance people that the estate agents were organising! Not happy as the epc we have is still valid for 10 years but because we had the boiler changed we thought it would be worth spending £90 to get a new one done but they said they'd get the company to call Monday afternoon .. I hadn't heard anything by 4.30 yesterday so I called the estate agent asking what was happening and the people I needed to speak to had gone home and they said they'd call me this morning! Waited til 1 and still no call from either so I rang the estate agents AGAIN and they said they'd chase the company and get them to call me straight back .. Guess what .. No call!
Tempted to tell them not to bother and give me my money back but don't want to risk that increasing the time it takes to sell the house

Nativity steering group meeting tonight, followed by a drink with a couple of friends. One of those friends is directing a small opera to go alongside, performed by good amateurs, and one of them is such a diva. She complains about everything and claims not to have been given chance to learn the part, despite having sung it before. We spent the evening laughing about how difficult she is, particularly the overall organiser of the project who has never worked with opera singers before. They're a unique type of diva.

We are seeing OHs LO on Saturday and gonna take him to a play centre or something so will end up going out for tea. Not sure if OH is working Saturday night or not. He could do without to be honest as he is full of cold and being out on track in this weather is not good!

This weekend is friends bday- next weekend haircut, weekend after working, then it's the Xmas party, 19th is my birthday weeken and then it's Xmas so I only really have a couple of days to shop lol

I've done nowhere near as much shopping as I would have normally done by now. As of the end of the month I am going to have to go mad, however, thing is, I don't need to buy as much as my 14 yo is having money for a trip to London in the new year, plus I am not buying much for step daughter, she is 17 and gifts lessen then.
