I did tea then had a phone call from the Drs id forgotten all about LO flu drop appointment at 5.20. The nurse phoned me at 6.30 and asked if I still wanted to come today or make another appointment but we got straight in the car and went. I felt so bad but she said lots of people had forgotten. LO was brill had to tip his head back and she put the stuff up his nose. He got a smartie and a sticker and was so good bless him. He's now fast asleep on the settee

Back at home now and tired- wish I had tomorrow off too! Flght was a bit delayed do didn't land until 8- OH picked me up- asked if I had my work staff badge and I said yeah it's still in my bag, so we went to F&Bs for t- 25% off- had a chicken pitta thing- it was nice- am ready for bed really but OH said I'm not allowed until 1030pm as we ate so late and he knows if I lie down too soon after food then I'm sick - I know he's right but am shattered

GF I was at uni in Huddersfield and my parents lived near Halifax for nine years after I had finished, so I visited quite a bit. I never came accross Denby Dale, but just looked it up and it's not far from Huddersfield. I've probably gone past it on the M62 a few times.

Morning folks.... Had a terrible nights sleep last night. My feet were driving my mad, itching and keeping me awake.
A colleague was off sick yesterday so I stepped in and gave the girls a hand with the export orders as I'm the only other one who knows how to do them.... I loved it but I'm worrying as I think I did one wrong. I need to check as soon as I get In the office!
I forgot I used to worry all the time in that role!
Oh well, I can't do anything about it now lol

Morning all.
Here we go again stood waiting for the train down to Heathrow fun and games!
Put another pair of work trousers in this morning that used to fall off my before the accident so I had to safety pin in about 2 inches and now they fit again. Not a pleasant find :( need to run but can't run!
I'm sure it'll be fine emmilou it'll just be your mind playing tricks it'll be perfect im sure :)

Hope so Becci lol....
The court governing body for children called OH yesterday and his ex to see how things are going.... She has said that LO is no happier seeing his dad than before but not unhappy. She has said that despite it going well, she is not ready for him to stay out overnight yet!! Surely the courts will say, it's not about you it's about the well being of the child!
Her previous allegations though of LO being afraid and wary of his dad have backfired though..... He now has regular contact with him and he is not showing any distressed signs or signs of fear. I'm hoping and praying the courts realise she is just an overprotective mother who wants control!
I'm looking forward to reading the report that has to be submitted by 24th November of what they observed at the first contact session!! The guy that was watching said, there's no problem here. So can't wait to see how it reads!

Emma I'm sorry to hear she's said this! It's the last bit of control she's trying to keep! Why can't these women be thankful there children's dads are decent and want to see them as so many don't give a toss, I have my fingers crossed that the court see through it! We get all this nonsense too that he hasn't enjoyed the time or he doesn't want to see his dad! She's got him brainwashed though luckily your oh's lo is younger and can't be so influenced xx

Emmilou - I don't think it's about being over protective. Women who split from fathers seem to use the kids as weapons almost like a punishment tool. It's not fair at all. They'll see through it; after all they probably deal with women blocking access to be spiteful all the time.
I hope so Sarah really depressing knowing I've put on the two inches I lost.

Morning, you all. Still night here (4:20am). Can't go back to sleep cause he is on his way to meet me here in Brazil <3 His flight is arriving in Sao Paulo in one hour and here in my city by 11am this morning. I'm so anxious I woke up and couldn't go back to sleep.
Our wedding is in 10 days. I haven't seen him since the end of March. I can't wait!!!

Sarah, I just can't get my head round the fact that LO is now in contact with his dad after SHE stopped him yet after being proved wrong in every accusation we still worry that the court will say no overnight stay cos she isn't ready!! I'm happy to start with daytime visits every other weekend for the first couple of weekends until he is settled but we will pick him up at 9am on Saturday and drop him back at 6pm and the same on Sunday! She isn't having her own way all the time!!
Grrrrrr, when will all this end?!

Emma I know how you feel we asked for 6 hours in the court the last time she said 4 and they went with what she said even though there was no reason to stop the contact being longer, the court can be very unfair and they say there doing it for the child but it doesn't always seem that way as the mothers get away with everything. I really hope this isn't the case for you Emma and she's brought down a peg or two xx

Yeah we're back in court in December but last contact wasn't successful and stepson has been saying on the phone I don't need to come if I don't want to and mum brings me to the centre so that's her doing her bit! What 8 year old comes away with that she has him so programmed it's disgusting xx

Oh Emily that's a terrible way for you to be feeling, me and OH were living with my parents then his mum before we moved out and the main reason we moved out when we did was because it was causing too much tension so we needed our own space. It is the best thing we have ever done, we were so much happier straight away.
