My boss is back in the business tomorrow after being away for 2.5 weeks so I thought I may as well make the most of it ha ha.. he wouldn't have a problem with me working from home anyway, but as he's not here it makes me feel a little less guilty lol. Love days when you don't have to get dressed!!!

Slept well last night until about 5ish when I struggled to get back off but managed so then felt worse when I did wake up. Went to the gym for a pump session, now just mooching around doing a few bits of laundry and need to pop to the shop to make sure there is something for dinner tomorrow night as I am on a long day,

Looks lovely Em.
I want a tattoo touching up on my foot as it healed badly when I got it done (about 3/4 years ago now), but it hurt soooo flippin much I just cannot face going through it again!!! My first was on my wrist which obviously did hurt but it was absolutely bearable, but I've never experienced so much pain with the one on my foot.
Ouch!! Looks good - can't quite see where it is though? Top of your arm by your shoulder?
I can do that sometimes Flossie - I try and work 1 day a week from home. Breaks up the monotony of 5 days in the office and also means I can catch up with stuff too. Had the day at home yesterday, but have to be careful as every morning I think I'll work from home today....!!

Just prepped dinner for tonight.. we're having chorizo, chicken, onion and pepper skewers in a paprika and ginger marinade with sweet potato fries. Had some chorizo, chicken and onion left over so have just fried it up and eating it as a late lunch/snack - yummy. The thing I like most about working from home is being able to prep dinner rather than get home at 5.30, start it all from scratch and then by the time you sit down it's almost bed time! Makes it much quicker and frees up more time in the evening.

Just had 2 hours doing the garden....
Mowed, strimmed and de weeded the borders which were dreadful. I need some more bark to spruce them up but it looks a lot better now

I think if you can see them doing it it does not hurt as much. The one on my foot never hurt anywhere near as much as the one on my lower back.

So, yesterday I wrote all my debt down and the APR rate and sat and looked at it.... I've decided that I'm gonna chip away at my debt and get it cleared!
I'm starting with the highest APR which also happens to be the lowest balance too so hopefully should see a difference soon!
It could potentially be a long process but it's definitely a start..... I actually feel good knowing that I've took action!
Until we have the joint account (next Saturday) OH transfers me £200 a week for bills and stuff so this makes things easier financially.
I'm pleased we have no wedding debt, that would really get me down!

Did something I never ever do this morning... alarm went off at 6.50, OH came in at 7.20 saying "just checking you are getting up babe cos it's 7.20..."!! I'd turned my alarm off and obviously fell back to sleep again, I was half awake when my OH came in but I'd obviously forgotten that my alarm had already gone off. Thank goodness he was still at home and not at work already. I normally get straight out of bed when my alarm goes off.

It started raining towards the end so we had a steady run back to the car.... I wanted to keep running I really enjoyed it. I might give it a try in the evening and gave LO follow on his scooter/bike so it allows me to go out! I could go to the local res so I know he is safe and isn't near busy roads!!

Morning all, hope your all well! Had some bad news this week, mums been poorly since Feb and they told her it was gall stones or kidney stones!!! Well turns out it's not its bowel cancer. Just want to cry for her. We will get there, fingers crossed she's booked for surgery early September On a positive note OHs daughter has decided she's going to start coming over and has apologised for blaming me for her not coming over ( even if she was told to say sorry). OH made a shocking desicion and asked me if once we are married and taken my girls on holiday if we could try for a baby, something I never thought he would ever say. I've told him if it happens it happens. He might change his mind before then,lol. Xxx

Hi all,
Finished all my work now and still another hr left. Literally nothing to do.
The weather here has been horrible but hopefully a chilled out night. Not sure whether to go pub or just have a night in with a glass of wine, good film / hot tub. Decisions…

Tonight I went to the blue supermarket and they had a 2.5kg bag of mozzarella reduced- the type they use on the pizza counter- is was 80p - the price on said £8 a kg so £20 worth of cheese- OH was like WTF are we going to do with all that? I made pizza for t and it was lush but I said you can freeze it, so have backed it all up and now have about a years supply of frozen cheese- it's great as can put on top of pasta bakes or lasagna frozen- real bargain of the day!

Morning all- sounds like we've all been on a cleaning blitz today!
Cleaned the bathroom, unloaded and reloaded dish washer, 1 load of washing done and tumbled and other load in, hovered and dusted, now sat with a coffee!
Had a good cry to myself today in the shower, it's 2 years today that my mum passed away- off out tonight for dinner so will have a gin and tonic to toast her- also ironically got our wedding contract through in the post today xx
It's like winter today, really dull and windy so just having a chilled day, will need to go to supermarket too- hate shopping on a Saturday

Thanks ladies, spoke to dad earlier and he picked some roses from the garden and climbed the hill where my mums ashes are- he said it was chucking it down when he left the house- drive to bottom of hill and just as he got out the car the sun shone all the way up- then when he got back to the car the heavens opened again!

Well tonight we went out for dinner and we were sat next to a table of girls celebrating a birthday who were sooooo loud they actually made me feel ill- we had to ask to move tables they were that bad! We got a free drink as an apology so I had a double g&t - then I asked for a glass of red wine and the bought a bottle! Needless to say I drank the whole lot- OH was driving so he didn't have any- when the bill came they didn't charge us for Any drinks only meal so as we had £30 voucher for 2 starters and mains and a pudding we paid £7.25! We left pretty sharpish after paying the bill in case they realised their error! Fab night! Xx

Well I've dropped LO at his dad's and back home with a cuppa before I clean the house through!
It should only take an hour or so cos it's not bad. I ought to do LOs room whilst he's not in and take loads of broken old toys to the dump!

Aww poor you Emm- I really don't know how you cope without OH- I like it for a night but after that I get really bored and lonely.
I had that same feeling last Sunday, really didn't want to go back to work! Wasn't as bad as I thought!
Waiting for OH to get out of shower- he's soooo lazy- I don't know how he can spend so long asleep- his whole family aren't morning people- really annoys me- I'm always up early but in the week in bed by 10pm but he can stay up late- although often falls asleep on sofa- again something I can't do- if I'm tired I just go to bed!

We took lo to a miniature railway this morning then went to a bar/grill for dinner. Nipped to t3sc0 and Oh been asleep since we got back. We are meant to be having a walk to the pub to meet in laws whilst it's sunny but can't see that happening
