Myself and the kids decided to come home tonight, hubby wanted to go into a dance tent, it was starting to rain so I asked if he minded me taking them back home. Ella Eyre was excellent as usual, Davkd Zowie was ok, Annie Mac was brilliant, but the best of all was these fellas, just a shame they are now only a group of four.
LO had me up a few times in the night and the rain woke me too. I just couldn't seem to settle all night :(
Went to my mum and dad's yesterday as my auntie was coming to see them. We've not seen her for 8 years. My sister went too. She asked what myself and my mum were doing sat as she's got a day off. We said we don't know it's only Sunday. She replied by saying all you do is sit at home so you should know. We were both fuming. Me and mum are both housewives, we've both got children. I can't wait for her to have kids so she realises we don't just sit and watch daytime tv all day. We were both fuming

Morning all.
So did not want to get up, nor do the kids but at least we are home and not getting up earlier at a cmap site to pack away. Rained very heavy in the night but dry at the mo with some blue skies.
As for that necklace, I am not getting it, they said by the time I ordered it they were out of stock but giving me a good will gesture of £5 off my next purcahse.

I struggled to get up this morning its not raining here but chilly, was glad of it after I powerwalked the dog as was running late, poor wee thing didn't know if it was ok to stop for a pee or not lol

The brass band were excellent. Think they are from York, called The New York Brass Band. If you get a chance, you should go and seee them.
The camp site shown in one pic was one of the smaller ones. There were much more than that. I didn't think it would be as large as it was but it was massive.

It looks like it will clear up here and then chuck it down with rain.
I am not happy at the mo and left a message on the school answer phone. My daughter walked into school and was told she needs a tie with her blouse and needs to go and get on as soon as. Their uniform policy is that if a girl wears an open neck blouse she does not need to wear a tie, if it is button up she does. If they penalise her for not having one I shall be even more unhappy!!

Morning All. Raining here, Just got back from chemist in time before it chucked down again! Been raining most of the night! Highlight of the day help my clients and best of all fix the hoover haha! When I am on my 6 weeks off I will come back to darkness as no one but me chances the lightbulbs and nothing working lol! fixed garage doors yesterday, GF looks like you had a great time. Mrs Wade is LO is like my Nieces LO you will never get chance to sit for 5 mins, She is in the terrible 2 stage and a lil fruit loop! haha

Had an unexpected hectic morning so far! Someone turned up to collect something and it wasn't ready (no one told me he was coming today), so I had a mad rush trying to get it ready whilst he was looking over me waiting! Would help if some people in this company learnt to communicate. Felt awful keeping him waiting but I wasn't to know!
We're meant to be getting a couple of storms here this week. I think summer is well and truly over now!

I don't mind winter as long as it doesn't rain. The wind and rain together is even worse, but I do like feeling comfy and cosy in my winter clothes and the thought of Xmas makes me happy. Xmas markets etc :)

The weather is miserable in Cardiff as well. It's been nice most of the weekend. We had a manic weekend, with a boardgames party for someone's birthday on Saturday, a silver wedding for friends of OHs family in Shropshire during the day yesterday, and a ruby wedding back in Cardiff for someone I've done chamber music with in the evening. We weren't there for the start of the ruby wedding party, but we did see some wonderful close up magic, and a very entertaining story teller. The silver wedding was lovely, we were able to catch up with the inlaws and the couple themselves who we hadn't seen since the wedding.
