I usually go with my sister for a spa day, we go to a nice hotel local, spa treatments, afternoon tea, sauna, steam, Jacuzzi and swim its lovely, our bdays are a month apart so that's our bday to each other xx

Long story short I asked for a pay rise because I am ridiculously under paid and they said no because they only do pay rises twice a year and the next time is October, the only way I can get more money is if they add things to my job title (which they have done so many times since I started) but they made it sound like that wouldn't happen for a while yet. They said I can appeal it but there wouldn't be much point as I probably wouldn't get anything. This was after it looked really hopeful that I was going to get something, I feel like I've been completely lied to and fobbed off!

Morning all. Fab cake! Oh I love a good spa break. Me and OH went on a few before we had LO. We were hoping to go down to Dublin for a couple of nights this year and take LO to zoo etc but my rota doesn't really give me enough days off together. Although there is one night duty I'm down for I could try get off but we might just leave it to save money. OH is self employed so when he takes time off no money comes in!

Yesterday I wanted to go back to see him and fight it but today I just have no motivation to even speak to him, I just feel like it's a waste of my time if he's just going to promise me something then go back on it! Thanks IDL, me too!

Me and OH have spoken about continuing to save after the wedding and putting any saved money we have left over towards a holiday to the Maldives in Feb 2017. Maldives was my dream honeymoon destination but because of the cost and the risk of the weather in wet season we decided against it, but I really want to share the experience with OH before we settle down and have kids bla bla bla. His birthday and our anniversary is in Feb so we thought it would be a nice way to mark the occasion and would also be a 2nd honeymoon of sorts xx

I'm very spoilt and have already been to the Maldives twice with my mum! It's beautiful and I feel very lucky to have experienced it but it is a place for couples for sure, would just be amazing to share the experience with OH! What dreams are made of x

All the money we'd saved after the wedding went on doing our garden up getting new turf and patio built. So back to square one with savings. Especially as we decided to concentrate on overpaying the mortgage so we could pay it off earlier as we both hate owing money, even on a mortgage. Aim is to pay it off by time I'm 50 although it's quite ambitious.

All this talk of holidays makes me want to go but were the same next holiday will be our honeymoon! We defo want to do new York too one day so that could be a possibility for the year after the wedding, my sister has been to New York twice and shes going again in November, she loves it and seeing the pics and hearing the stories I so want to do xx

We hardly had any time off or away in the year before the wedding because of saving up to move house and planning wedding. Was sorrelieved when we got on the plane for honeymoon just because we needed the break so much.

You've got all your water sports, diving, snorkelling, boat trips etc... you can go island hopping and visit the capital and things like that, but generally there's not a huge amount to do. My idea of heaven!!

I was thinking yesterday I'd love for us to go on more holidays and see the world together. I'm terrible for worrying about money but there are sooo many more important things in life than money. Need to stop worrying and just live life!
