has anyone told you that they are going to 'gatecrash' your wedding? or has anyone had someone gatecrash there wedding already?

well today i get a message from my fbil, aprently his ex has been telling him she is going to gatecrash my wedding, aparently 'for revenge'- revenge for what i havent got a clue!

basically he was with her for quite a while, shes always been a drama queen attention seeker, that type. anyway despite that we used to be really good friends, i would even say best mates and she was supposed to be being my bridesmaid. this is going to sound like something from j. kyle but just before christmas she left fbil for his cousin :/ deleted all contact with all of us and hasnt spoken to us since, shes now 7 months pregnant with ohs cousin, says she made a mistake doesnt love him anymore and wants back with fbil but hes having non of it. anyway so yeh now shes threatening to gatecrash my wedding and i just no that if she does she would cause a seen as thats the kind of person she is. really didnt think i would get any of this nonsence but what do you no. i dont want to start worrying about what ifs but what if she does show up? what can i do? x

Well she's going to be easy to spot with that bump of her's. I've heard of people threatening to do the same thing, but I've never heard of people actually going through with it. I would suggest talking to someone at your venue to see what they suggest for dealing with this situation.

I've had a similar threat from GLaDOS (mil 2 b) which is in my thread "security on the day"

Have a word with the registry office and the reception venue and see what they Reccomend.

Take a photograph of her to the venue and show the staff so they know not to let her in. I would be very surprised if she did though, few people would actually have the balls to gatecrash a wedding no matter how 'Jeremy kyle' they are! Your day will go smoothly im sure xxx

wouldn't worry mention to the venue but i don't think she will, she will be ready to pop by your wedding if shes 7 months now, she probably saying it a reaction so don't play her game and ignore her

Hopefully she's all talk, I can't see why anyone would want to put themselves in a position where they will be confronted by a whole load of people who hate her. As the other girls have said though, and just for peice of mind, let the venue know you might be expecting a very unwelcome and heavily pregnant guest, so she won't be hard to miss at least!
