My h2b has decided it would be really fun to do a funny dance for our 1st dance (kinda like the baby got back 1st dance on youtube). We are a sort of crazy couple and a few family members say they could just imagine us doing something silly and I think it would be funny but im not too sure? would it make my wedding day a bit too "unclassy" ?

If it's something they'd expect you to do...you either conform and do it or you could surprise them and not do it at all and do something completely different!!!

Go for it!!! We always dance silly but rarely are out with family, could be fun!
It definately is a day that reflects your personality so if you want to do a funny dance then go for it!! h2b wants me to learn the Tango. Yikes i can dance just not ballroom lol. well we either get dancing lessons or it will be a funny dance.

Lol claire, we thought about tango lessons but my train will be a bit heavy to be marching up and down! He loves all the latin type ones as well, will look a bit silly in a wedding dress though!

Could always hook it onto your arm, but true would have to be careful you dont rip it. Im not so sure about it, trouble is I dont want to tell him i dont want too,will have to make an effort and see how it goes, dancing lessons could be fun. going to be a lot different than the Zumba i have been doing lol. Omg this is going to be hilarious!

I have choreographed loads of wedding dances including a hip hop one and we got ogether from Grease, so I say have what you want! It is your day and it is up to you what you do! xx

We are doing this too. I'm really excited. We are quite a laid back couple and this sort of dance suits us. So i say go for it x

My hubby to be wants to go from our 1st dance song into Mr Boombastic! He said he will flip me round and slap my bottom! Hope hes joking :) Would be super fun to do something funny though without the bottom slaping x

Ive seen loads of the video's on youtube - its seems like its something ALOT of couples do at weddings to create a "silly laughing mood" and tbh it WORKS!! i went to one and my friend had danced to beyonce's song, but the bride and bridemaids and groom and best men were all in on it too! It hightlighted there night!
I think its an amazing idea.
I may even do this myself! lol xx

Ziggy, saw a great one the other day (I'll see if I can find it again and put the link on your wall) they did a normal dance but then they had a medley of songs and just did a little of each, it was great, looked so awesome and everyone was shocked!!! xx

Me & my dad did a dance no one knew about it had been sneakin off for dance lessons every one loved it & my husband was so shocked if u search Parker-Osbon on YouTube it's on there after all family wanted to watch it everyone's still talkin bout it months after our day xx
