Have you been tracking how many inches you have lost? As muscle weighs more than fat, it may be that initially you have gained muscle tone, and may have lost inches more so than weight? Also, if you ever watch Biggest Loser, you will know that they have weeks where they don't appear to have lost much, or anything, even though they have been working hard. The body takes time to adjust.

Other things to consider - the same diet plan doesn't always work for everyone. I've seen people on here swear that WW is the best thing ever, and I've seen almost as many say that it didn't work for them, and SW was what helped them. I would also try asking the WW people for help, as they should know the sort of things you have been eating, and maybe they can help tweak the diet for you. Your activity level sounds fine to me at least, so maybe it is the diet that isn't quite right. It's not too far wrong as you are losing - so don't forget that - it's just it could do with being at a little faster rate....

Don't lose heart! That's the main thing :-)

why dont you try another diet? slimming world? i was on that. still am to an extent and did really well on it. to be fair i didnt have that much to lose just needed to fit in my dress but i actually lost more than i wanted! everyone has commented on how much weight i have lost and it feels great! my friend is on ww and it sounds like a nightmare.

there is a slimming world thread, i will bump it for you. take a look as i found it so easy! my h2b wasnt even following it just ate the same food as me for lunch and dinner and then he was still eating rubbish and drinking and he has lost over a stone! xx

I've never thought of tracking inches! I'll give that a go! I've done ww before and lost over a stone! It's even more frustrating because my grandma does it to and she's lost 9lb and my mum who's lost 11lb and they don't do half as much exercise and my mum doesn't even track!!! I've asked our ww leader and she just told me to try harder! Try harder, I'll end up starving myself! Lol! Ww has all changed now tho since the last time I did it. I've never thought of giving sw a try as I've only ever done ww! Thanks so much tho ladies I'll have a look at the other threads and see what I can find! :0) xxxx

dont compare yourself to others! everyone loses weight at different rates! and as faeth said muscle weighs more than fat so it could be that! it is healthy to lose about 1-2 lb a week i think it is. you dont want to start losing weight to quick as you may find it harder to keep off!

hope you dont mind me asking but how much have you got to lose? my friend had 6 stone to lose and she went on a diet and she has lost over 4 stone since jan! xx

A friend of mine did WW for 2 years and lost something like 50lbs in the first 18 months but after that nothing. She's switched to SW now and she's losing again now. I'm no expert but I do think that giving yoru body a new challenge sometimes helps, so maybe trying something different may work?

I'm trying not to compare myself to them but it's hard! I'm quite a competitive person lol! I've got a goal of 3 stone to lose by September so I can start dress shopping then and not feel frumpy and then maybe push for another stone after! Xxxx over 4 stone! Crikey! She's doing really well! Which diet is she on? Xxxx

im trying to remember the name but for some reason have completly forgot.

lighter life!! you dont eat on it, you have bars and milkshakes which apperently are really nice! she has another 3 weeks on it and then she starts to re-introduce food and she will continue to lose weigt while doing it!

there is a different version of it called lighterlife lite, where you still eat and lose weight still and that is meant to be very good.

my ex was on it when we were together. he was huge when we got together and lost 8 stone in total, i still think he looks amazing now. he got skinny and split up with me!!! xx

Do you ever take a weekend out?
Im on a dieting site, and one of the ladies their thought she had came to a stand still, she hadn't lost in a few weeks, after doing strength and cardo workouts routinely , still was only eating her 1200 cals so on and so forth. So she decided to take a break and relax while we had the good weather the other week their, and she dropped some weight.

What she found out is that she had lost weight, but the strength and cardo was obviously working the muscles, and they make you gain weight while they try and recover, after she had relaxed and just pottered about the garden for a few days her weight went down as they fully recovered. Also your metabolism may have caught up with what you are eating and doing. So trying a different diet will help motivate your metaolism again.Or if you were not in a hurry what i found was taking it easy ( no diet ) for a weeek, where i ate what i wanted (ie going from 1200 to 1800 cals) helped me lose again when i went back onto my diet. (or it did last year - hope it will work again)

    Good Luck
