So, the planning of my sisters hen night has pretty much been completed after she was majorly let down by the 2 friends she had given the job to..... (knowing that with work, 2 children, my wedding to plan and my exam next month i was snowed under and she hadnt asked me) well we sat for an evening and a day plotting and planning and have a plan, which is awesome.

The thing is, money is very tight...... so all special treatments are kind of out the question, but i still want to suprise her. I am thinking of hitting the local poundshops for hen night silly goodies and bits and bobs and have a aquired a cheap bright pink vibrator which i may have to present her with as a pressie...... but am struggling to think what else???
I only have less than 2 weeks and very very limited funds, but would love to think of something special as she has been so let down and i want her to have the best night out ever.
I have considered gathering up some pamper stuff and providing her with a pampering session the next day but all i can think of is face mask with cucumber over eyes and a foot soak, could possibly do hand cream and stuff as well, and we have planned to do boudior shoot that afternoon before going out so all that will be fun. What do you reckon? anything to add to those plans to make it a night / day she will never forget?

How about a cocktail making class in the evening?! I've been to a few now and always had a blast (and the cocktails you make are measured out yourself ;-) ) The classes were around £20 each but made 4 or 5 cocktails which is cheaper than buying them at a bar! We bought willy straws and sweets etc to tackify the night and had such a laugh.

Another idea is dare cards, where the person has to do the dare on the card, or do a forfeit, which for us was to kiss the nearest man (not a snog lol).

What you have so far sounds good though! Love the idea of pampering the following day!

We kept mine cheap so more could come and I had a fab night, it was a £20 robbie williams tribute at a hotel with 3 course meal and disco. I made the girls goodie bags to take home but they did me a pink gift bag filled with silly bits, I had a feather boa, feather fan (came in handy with dancing!), mad lilac glasses, furry bunny ears, an inflatable hen hat, l plate, condoms etc.

What i loved best was that they had spent ages making me a silly scrap book filled with the story of our relationship with pictures my mom had sneakily donated. That was really special and they trimmed it up with glitter, so you can great things without spending much.

No 7 do makeovers for free, they taught me to do my wedding makeup the other day and you can prebook. Debs also do a free personal shopper session if you book online, get to try on loads but no obligation to buy.

She is very lucky to have you :-) Hope that helped.

    xx

Ohhh i might venture in to town tomorrow and see if i can book her a makeover in a shop on the saturday while we shopping..... that could be a nice suprise!!! Cheers for that.
Dont have access to a whole lot of photos of her, so a scrap book would be really difficult though i could maybe ask her h2b if he can fish any out..... hmmmmm thats an option as well.
I am planning on hitting the pounshops to make up a party kit for her...... like hen night survival kit and some dares could be fun :D

How fab i'm pleased!!! Sounds like you have it all well in hand, she'll be thrilled. My friend did the story of us meeting and daft bits about our honeymoon, and maybe other people can help you think of stories and stuff from the past to shove in. Its a great souvenir to keep, really glad i could help.

Pound shops have loads of daft hen stuff at the moment saw it the other day :-)

one of my friends went on a hen doo organized by a company and through the day they had activities in groups to do during the day like find a carrie (sex in the city) style wedding dress, bridesmaid dress etc etc and take photos, find the most expensive handbag, most outrageous shoes strangest named cocktail bla bla, then they all met up and compared pics. apparently it was really funny and they were all in hysterics. Not my cup of tea id be bright red all day lol but just a suggestion cos its free!!! xx

    Right, well:
I have managed to put together a scrap / photo book for her. I have also bought her a set of earrings, and another friend has bought her matching braclet.
I have a supply bag of party feet cushions (to stop your feet hurting from dancing) party poppers and glow sticks. I think my next job is to perhaps look in to some dares etc into a little pouch, and possibly a list of random objects to be found and collected through the night hehehe.
We have hen medallions, pink tutus, leg warmers etc.... a large supple of booze.
We aregoing shopping in the day, then afternoon will be posing for boudior photos in our wedding corsets etc...... then will be heading out for pub grub then on to a gay bar for dancing and drinking and yet more photos of a different kind!

Then in the morning i have a case of nail varnish, face packs, cucumber (for our eyes), foot soak etc.... for a pamper session. Think we are set ready to go.

At my MOH's hen which I organised, we had a task card to complete throughout the weekend. Just silly tasks like:
'Get a piggy back from a stranger'
'Get asked for ID in a bar/pub/club'
'Steal a strippers knickers' (we did pole dancing lessons so it was easier than it sounds!)
'Make as many penis shaped things as possible' (My Nan went into a a greengrocers and came out with a sweet potato and 2 onions!)
'Collect as many beer matts as possible'
'Get as many stamps from nightclubs as you can'
    etc etc etc

You can make your own up and maybe try and personalise them to the hen? Rather than a fancy dress theme, we had a 'Cocktail Dress' night. We were all in LBD's and heels and that made for some lovely photos!

Also, you can get stickers that say 'Best eyes' 'Sexiest 6 pack' 'Biggest biceps' etc...you find a man to match each sticker. Proves great fun!

Hopefully you'll think up some interesting ideas! As for the pamper day, the face pack and foot soak is a lovely idea but why not paint her nails, mini manicure kinda thing, and do her hair and make up for the shoot? Make her feel that extra bit special :)

I'm sure it'll all go according to plan and well done for taking over the organisation!

    xx

You should also ask each of the hens to bring along a funny story about your sister. Everyone puts them in a pot and takes it in turns to read one out while your sister has to guess who wrote it (if she's wrong needs to do a forfeit). It was a great laugh when we did it at a friends hen party and it was a great way to bond people that didn't know each other (and find out bad stories about the hen) xx
