I think it's a great day! I met my H2b on Friday 13th, I was born Friday the 13 th and many other good things have happened on that date for me. We are getting married next April and as the 13th is on a Sunday we are getting married the 12th but going on honeymoon the day after. I really wanted to get married this year on the same day as you but unfortunately due to financial reasons we have got to wait until next year. All the best with your wedding plans x

You're so lucky ! Me and my H2B got together on Friday 13th so we were going to try and book our wedding for then but the ones in the months I wanted were either too close (your wedding day) or too far away in 2017 or something like that !! We tried for Saturday 13th but someone had already booked it.. xxx

I wanted that date originally!! but because we are getting married abroad, people couldnt afford it so soon!! The reason we wanted it was because my other half had cancer when he was younger and he had his bone marrow transplant on Friday 13th....He then got the all clear on the next Friday 13th... so his family have always 'laughed in the face of' Friday the 13th!! I was born on the 13th too...so i dont see it as unlucky. For us- it's the luckiest day there is! So we are having our England Do on Friday 13th June next year...our little compromise for changing the original date to next May!! :) xxx

My mum and dad got married Friday 13 July 1984 and they're still together now...so it can't be all that bad :) I wouldn't let it put me off at all, if it's meant to be it's meant to be. I'm not superstitious at all, you make your own luck...I think...I still touch wood after saying anything bad :)
