Hello! How much is everyone paying for their fresh flowers? I need to decide on my florist and I don't know what budget to say.
I'll need button holes for 5 men, my bouquet (simple), BM bouquet and about 8 table decorations which includes the top table which will also be used for the ceremony table.
Any ideas on budget? I was thinking £300 ish...? Will this do it?
I'd thought about silk flowers but I love the smell of fresh flowers so set aside budget to get the flowers. Help and opinions gratefully received!

Our costs... My bouquet... £65 BMs- £40 each Male buttonhole.. £4
Not having fresh flowers as centrepieces because of the expense (£25+ each)
Prices for fresh flowers depend on the variety, the style and the time of year.

It really does depend on what type of flowers you have. I'm budgeting about £300 my florist has given me some approx quotes. I want my bouquet, 2 x BM bouquet (£20 each), 1 flowergirl wand (£10), 1 grooms buttonhole and 4 x male buttonholes (£4-£7 each), 2 x ladies buttonholes (same as mens) and 2 ladies corsages (£7.50 - £15), 1 top table arrangement (also going to be used for the ceremony table £35) and about 6 table centre pieces (just the flowers as I have the vases, mirrors and tea lights £2- £5). I have looked at silk flowers and there wasnt a great difference in price.

I was quoted £1500 for my flowers but after speaking with you girls earlier in the month I am certainly not paying that. As the girls have said, it depends entirely on what you want. I know my flowers will cost a teeny but more than i'd like to pay for them but I have a ton of flowers to get - i've to decorate 4 huge rooms, plus a monstrous fireplace and get my bouquets and button holes. Oh the drama. lol. xxx

we have budgeted about £400 for our flowers, but our reception venue is providing the flowers for the tables, so we have something less for me to fret about!! lol
