Ladies that are having or have had fresh flower bouquets how did you look after them on the day? Did you have them out or plan to have them on display for guests to look and did you need to provide your own vases/jars to stand them in or will the florist make provision for that? Just want to make sure they get some water and stay alive for longer than the day itself. Wondered what other had planned/done What is everyone doing with their flowers after the wedding? I've looked at preservation of whole bouquet but it's tres expensive.

They have loads of flower preservation websites im sure you could find one suitable to your budget. I have jumped that hurdle by having a dry flower bouquet.
My SIL spritzed her bouquet with a water spray throughout the day to save them from wilting or just buying a vase suitable for your needs. I dont think many people expect them to last too long after their big day. Sorry I couldnt be more help.

Have you thought about buying those little soil beads. They look like tiny balls of plastic, you soak them in water for about 24hours. You can put your flowers in it to keep them fresh longer. Good idea if you want to use them as table decorations. They come in diff colours too so you can match it to your decor. I would also ask the florist your getting your flowers from how best to keep them looking good all day and after. I don't think the florist provides vases ect unless this is something your paying more for. Most shops atm are doing summer sales so you can get really good prices on vases or you could try pound stretchers. Displaying them afterwards could save you money on extra ceterpieces, that's what I would do if I were having fresh flowers. I hope this helps x
