what flowers are you planning on using??

spread the petals from your flowers on a paper towel or scrap paper/cardboard.
leave them in a non damp warm room
if you get condensation on your windows it wont work as there is moisture in the air
it takes around 4 days to properly dry out flower petals dependant on size. try not to use brown or discoloured ones as this can ruin the overall look.
If you want a scent spray the petals lightly from around 30cm away and leave for another day or so.

bare in mind when they are drying they will darken in colour as they dry.

you can also dry petals by:
remove petals and place on greaseproof paper
put onto a large baking sheet
put into oven on low and leave , moving petals from time to time
but i wouldnt reccomend this personally as my oven is unpredictable. lol

I know theyve been known to last aaaggggees but i cant say for sure as ive only ever made them and used them at friends weddings within the space of a month.

I dont know if its true but youre supposed to be able to freeze them and defrost them at a later date but I dont believe it... surely theyd go soggy?!?

Anyway send me an update when youve given it a go and let me know what works best for you :-))

I've tried it the way Stephanie suggested, in the oven. I think they've turned out pretty well. Just need to get a huge amount of petals now!
