After receiving these and seeing how beautiful they are (especially no3) my other half thinks that we should just get them as they are going to take forever to make. However I think you get a sense of pride when you've made them yourslelf x

It does give you a sense of achievement but.... I had problems finding any reasonably priced paper that was anything like that used on no 1 & 2, so if anyone knows where to find some cheap please let me know!!!
We ended up using plain paper and adding detail to the front of the card. Oh, we've changed colour scheme so not sure if I'm using them, that's why I asked! lol xx

Re the patterned papers, you can either get a CD that has papers patterns on it from a craft shop and you can usually change the colours or look at what papers you can download for free and again once you have your pattern you can change the colour you print. Get some card or paper with a sheen or embossed pattern and print on that. Also you can get books of patterned papers too.

I wondered if anyone had any ideas for petalfold or lily pad fold invitations? I am looking to do this as cheapily as possible and can only seem to find them at around £3.25 per invite. I am happy to assemble them myself and would prefer DIY invites but I cant find any that are cheaper than professionally completed ones. I am pretty rubbish at online searching but I feel that I have looked everywhere possible with no luck :o( Any help would be greatly appreciated xx

Thanks for this, I've ordered some! It was great getting to check out and it saying 'no payment is needed for this order'! I've also ordered some more freebies from another website, the one that shares it's name with the small bits of paper that are thrown at weddings! They have a similar deal - if you put a code in you get 2 or 3 free samples!

The code for the one that I mentioned is just 'SAMPLE', it tells you this on the website anyway so it should be quite easy to do!
