I've never been to a wedding before let alone a Free Church one so I've no clue what goes on!
We were going to have a ceremony at the hotel we're having our reception at, but a few nights ago I woke up in the middle of the night thinking 'I really want to get married in the church'. It's the church I was christened in and went to until I was 15 (and rebelled!)

We've booked our date at the hotel already for a Sunday and I don't know if the minister would allow a Sunday wedding in the church. I know we're not allowed music apart from singing but I don't know what other do's and don'ts there are.

We're going to the church on Sunday so will meet the minister a nd maybe be able to find out a bit more. But I don't want him to think we're only there because I want to get married there. I do intend on getting my daughter christened there and being a regular member.

Does anyone have any advice or information. Can't seem to find anything online.
