Married in White, you have chosen right, Married in Blue, your love will always be true, Married in Pearl, you will live in a whirl, Married in Brown, you will live in town, Married in Red, you will wish yourself dead, Married in Yellow, ashamed of your fellow, Married in Green, ashamed to be seen, Married in Pink, your spirit will sink, Married in Grey, you will go far away, Married in Black, you will wish yourself back

months to marry
Married when the year is new, he'll be loving, kind and true. When February birds do mate, You wed nor dread your fate. If you wed when March winds blow, joy and sorrow both you'll know. Marry in April when you can, Joy for Maiden and for Man. Marry in the month of May, and you'll surely rue the day. Marry when June roses grow, over land and sea you'll go. Those who in July do wed, must labour for their daily bred. Whoever wed in August be, many a change is sure to see Marry in September's shrine, your living will be rich and fine. If in October you do marry, love will come but riches tarry. If you wed in bleak November, only joys will come, remember. When December snows fall fast, marry and true love will last. Marry in May and you'll live to rue the day

nothing about a Sunday think thats coz it's a holy day for god, at one time before the throwing of the bouquet we had to throw our shoe's painfull for the one who caught them lol

CommentAuthorIgnition
That would be painful, I have been researching the different traditions, put together my own little book on them, it's been a labour of love for a couple of months. It's possibly going to be printed a s a little keepsake, as it will be personalised from our day. We have stuck to quite a few traditions. I am throwing the Bouquet, but only because I bought two. One to keep, one to throw. xx

Can anyone tell me two traditions... Which leg does the garter go on and Which shoe does the sixpence go in? x
Tomorrow is never promised to anyone, So Dance until your
feet ache, Laugh until your side hurts,
Say I Love You to those you love
For tomorrow may never come x
CommentAuthorIgnition
It goes in the left shoe. As for the Garter it doesn't matter which leg you wear that on, that is your choice entirely. xx

Well then, I'm going to live in a whirl, rue the day and have no luck at all. Hopefully changing my name will mean that the "no luck at all" is reversed a little! Nothing about the flowers I had (ivory roses and lisianthus) ... oh dear ... should I just contact a divorce lawyer now?

Married in Brown, you will live in town,- Can't see this happening (closest colour) Marry when June roses grow, over land and sea you'll go. - Looking forward to this bit! Saturday for no luck at all - No change there then! Cool with the surnames as well so changing for the better! Flowers not on list! Could have been worse, lol xx
