Well went to veiw to venues today and the first is the one. It's really nice, and modern. They were setting up for a wedding at the time, so got to see it (almost) finished. Good size room for the eve with 120 people. It doesn't have any of it's own gardens but it is on Blackpool prom so we can have pics on the prom and the beach (if weathers ok). The guy was realy nice and so helpful. The package includes
Ceremony Drinks reception and canapes 2 tier wedding cake Table plan and place cards Chair and table linen Top table flower arrangement Wedding Breakfast for 50 Wine with meal Champagne to toast DJ Eve buffet for 80 Twin room and dinner night before wedding Room for night of the wedding
£2000. Will have to add an extra 10 people onto each day and eve. But it will only take it up to £2500 at most.
I can't believe it. It's such good value.
Taking h2b and mil2b next sat for a look and will tell him we're booking it :P Plus I have now decided on my centre pieces as the ones that were being set up we amazing. Massive martini glasses with black featers and twinkley light in with tall white flowers coming out. Me and my mum both were like WOW.
Getting a bit excited again now. Had kind of lost it after getting the dress and not finding a venue.
Happy Hayley. Can't wait for next Sat now so I can see it again :D

Yeah I am. Next Sat can't come quick enough. Just glad I've found somewhere. Only got 5 weeks till I leave and it'll be a weight off my mind when it's booked

The co-ordinator said he has just put together the new brochure and he spent 4 months looking at the hotels around the area and what they provide and how much, so he could be the best for the best price. And he certainly is. Want Sat to come faster. Then we can book it :D

Well. Went with h2b and mil today to see it. Mil was impressed with the room and the price. H2b was silent as usual so had to get him talking about it. And then I said can i book it :D He said yes. Woooooo Deposit paid but in my excitement and haste I forgot to get everything down in writing. So going to email him and get him to draw up a contract of prices etc so it's in writing. YAY

I can. Going to sort out my save the date's next week. Not going to plan anything till next July when I get back from Japan but I'm just glad something is booked and I don't have to worry anymore. And I got some sort of reaction from h2b :P

It's so exciting when u book the venue for sure we were well excited and now we can't wait for next year to plan everything else and you got a bargain price it's a lot cheaper than ours 10,000 for ours and we are feeling the pinch but well worth it xx
